I wouldn't have if I disconnected my battery. I told my parents I was gonna do that and they were like "Oh no, that's not necasary!"
I'd rather just find the music on the ipod, scrolling on a HU would take too much attention from the road IMO

Only time I disconnect the battery is if I'm pulling it out, changing a starter, or clearing a obd code. Mainly because I hate reseting all the settings on my head unit
