It was just a suggestion.
I will buy Jack Stands!!!
Personally, I'm liking Sony stuff more and more. Had good experiences with their equipment thus far. I've also used JVC and Pioneer with good results. The only Alpine stuff I've had were a pair of 6 1/2 2 way speakers that were bullet proof. Too bad they went away with the Jeep.

Non-redneck? Who the hell do you think you are, you live in Minnesota for god's sake
I'm a fan of Sony stuff. Never had any bad experiences with it. Be it from the stereo in my room to my playstation that's survived more than it should, and soon my truck's stereo *knock on wood*

Got hopefully everything I needed at menards. I found some epoxy that I think should work. If all else fails, I also got some black duct tape.

I've heard those blow really easy. Amp should be good though.
Can't say the same for our ps2. That thing has been beat to hell by my brother, and barely works half the time. Time for a PS3.
And what year was that?

My ps2 has been run for days on end, played with the vigor of a 5 grader(when I got it) and 4 years ago got tore down 4.5 feet. Dog ran buy, stepped on cords, down came the PS2. We took it apart, glued the CD tray track back together and never had a problem since!
