I am new to this forum and have read all of the posts in this thread. I am having the exact same issues with the brakes on my 2015 3.7L V6 Mustang. All of the the posts refer to the ecoboostand GT models, as does the Referenced TSB.

Do the remedies in this thread apply to my vehicle as well? Or do I have a separate issue?

Any assistance is appreciated and thank you in advance!

 

Bumping an old thread. Our 2015 is doing this exact thing. It was built in January 2015. I saved the pic of the TSB that was posted a few pages back on my iPad. We have an appointment with our local Ford dealership tomorrow morning at 9:00. The iPad is going with me. Oh, it's been in one time before for the same thing. About a year ago, long after the TSB came out. They didn't do the TSB on it.

For t hose who are experiencing brake squeak, do you recall if you installed metallic, ceramic or partial metallic brakes?
I am trying to see if the squeaking is common to a certain type. My 2015 oassenger side just started squeaking and I instinctively went out and bought new pads. After removing the wheel I notice the brake squeaker is nowhere near the rotor!!!

 

Just a heads up! The last activity on this thread was from nearly 5 years ago and second, the break squealing issues were the result of the factory brake pad linings.. After Ford replaced the brake pads with the revised pad linings, it resolved the break squealing issues.. That being said, I strongly recommend you read through the entire posts that were submitted on this thread.
