2015 Gt premium squealing front brakes
So my local Ford dealership, Theodore Robins Ford, claims my 2015 Mustang GT Premium with Performance Pack is not covered under this TSB.
They told me my front rotors developed a glaze so they resurfaced them, and now it's all hunky dory. But at least they were able to reproduce the sound *FINALLY*.
Does anybody have definite confirmation that there is a TSB out there that covers that horrible noise under warranty with replacement of rotors and pads for the Performance Pack Mustang GTs? I will be picking up my car today to see if their fix works.
Other than that noise, I have been extremely happy with my 2015 GT!
Thanks in advance, guys!

TSB for brakes
My 2015 GT Premium just started doing the dreaded squeak about 400 miles ago. Spoke to service advisor and he said that the parts on the TSB are the exact same parts that are on the car and he reccomended I wait until new parts are designed/used as Ford only replaced brakes once under warranty. Looking for advice or any info to the contrary that I can use to get the correct parts installed.
Back to squealing....AGAIN
Had mine fixed about 5 months ago and low and behold, they've started squealing again! I'm beyond frustrated! Evidentially the new brakes are just as defective as the originals. Ford needs to get it together!

The rotors from the TSB are NOT the same as the originals. The pads ARE, the rotors are NOT. I even spoke with a service manager working directly with a Ford engineer when this came to light, who said the sets of rotors are different colors. Seems some dealerships are getting this mixed up; they probably figured, Oh, OK...we just replace these parts. No. The parts had to be specifically ordered by the dealerships. They ended up quickly on backorder once word got out.
I have about 7k miles on my TSB rotors, not a squeak.

I too am having the same issue and the dealership keeps telling me it's normal and sending me away. I didn't pay $40K for a car for people to have to cover their ears when I pull up and hit the breaks. This is totally embarrassing!! I've had the car about a month now and it keeps getting worse. I am not happy at all. I've owned a mustang before and never had these issues before. I just want my brakes fixed so that I can drive y car without being embarrassed to brake. Is that too much to ask?!
I just bought the gt 5.0 premium and I am starting to have the same problem. At about 6,000km. Happens at slow speeds and in parking lots. I have yet to take it in. Now I will Thx to everyone's posts!!
I do not know if there is a TSB for the GT PP Brembos. Is there? Because I am upgrading mine as I type this. Ugh.
Seems to be much confusion about this TSB. Which is understandable, as the models listed on it are poorly outlined. The facts:
TSB 15-0030 covers only the
Ecoboost / Ecoboost Premium wih PP
GT / GT Premium without PP
These models come with the same exact brakes.
Redesigned rotors are to be ordered by your dealership; some places require ordering specifically by your VIN. The pads supposedly have not required a redesign.
If your dealership gives you any grief over it (as they are all individually owned stores and owners can do whatever the hell they want), do not waste your valuable time. Go to a different dealership...but I would call first to see what they say.

New Roush
I've got 2015 Roush that just started this mess with the front brakes squeeking. Drives me nuts! Only happens when I'm going about 15 and below. I sprayed them hoping that would solve the problem, which did, but only for about a day or two. The car is new so it can't be that they're worn already. Someone mentioned that it might be the bracket so I'll pull the wheel and look, but doubt that's the problem because they both squeek. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
OK. I got the following post There is a TSB for PP Mustangs (GT and EB) - TSB 15-0030 for this exact problem. __________________ I took this to my dealer and said there was this TSB15-0030 They said Oh! We didn't know about it. Then after that they replaced my brakes all 4....
I've had this same squeal for about a month, month and a half now, although I purchased my 2015 GT PP in June 2015. At 9,500 +/- miles the squeal started and happens when coming to a soft stop. Doesn't matter if it's been sitting over night, or if I've been driving it throughout stop and go traffic.
Took it to the dealer two weeks ago and was told I had a "heat spot" on the passenger front rotor, and said it wasn't covered under the Ford warranty and that they could re-turn the rotor for a $150. Upon challenging their stance that it wasn't covered under any warranty they came back and said the brakes were covered for 1 year or 12K miles, which I'm under on both.
When the dealer claimed it was a heat spot they also implied that it was a result of my aggressively driving and braking the car. While I realize drivers of this car can come with certain assumptions, in this case their assumption was dead wrong.
They turned the rotor, so the paperwork says, but the minute I drove off the lot the loud squeal was still ever present. Can't be sure they did anything at all, other than mark up the paperwork.
Taking it back in next week to have this issue reevaluated.

UPDATE: I came here looking for a fix to this issue on my 2015 GT PP. After posting, I went outside the city and found a nice smooth road with a high speed limit late at night. Did at least 20 emergency stops from about 80 miles an hour. Never came to a dead halt, to prevent imprinting the rotors or anything. just 80 down to about 10 mph, then as fast as I could get back up to 80. Repeat rapid fire, a few dozen times. Hasn't squeaked since then, about 2 months now. If it starts back up, I'll just do that again.

Thanks
