2015 Gt premium squealing front brakes
I too have the squeaky brake syndrome while moving at parking lot speeds and lightly applying the brakes. So I looked up 'Ford Customer Service' on the Internet and found this:
Ford and Mercury United States
1-800-392-3673
1-800-232-5952 (TDD for the Hearing Impaired)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Saturday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time
I called customer service and explained the noisy brake issue I had and that I had recently visited my local Ford service department to get it looked at (tech could not duplicate complaint - Drove it a few feet and it squealed !!). So the next day, the service manager for the California region called me to explain that she attended a meeting with Ford Engineering and there is a fix (TSB) that will be issued shortly. I asked what did engineering find, but she said that she did not know. I wish I could of persuaded her about the exact date and what the fix is. So I am waiting....

I had the same problem. They scuff the rotors the 1st time but it still squeal. Brought is back the second time and they change the pads but it still squeal. I contacted Ford and was told the engineers and redesigning the rotors. They will contact me so that I can bring it back to the dealer for the fix.
The PAD LINERS may be defective. I'm experiencing the same exact thing. It's just like posted video , only worse. Replacement FORD pads will do EXACT same thing. These PAD Liners, not the ROTORS are most likely causing this. MERCEDES had a similar incident and TSB'd every vehicle manufactured with the DEFECTIVE PAD LINERS.
After reading this thread I have a few questions. It sounds like the biggest problem is with the standard brakes & not so much with the PP ? Does anyone have an idea if most GT's have the squealing problem or just a small percentage ? AND is Ford still building/shipping them with the same brakes ? Thanks ! Scott
Hi, My 2015 Mustang GT Base Fastback Silver color, purchased in early February has the performance package (6-piston 15" Brembo fronts). I received a second call from the service manager handling my case saying that she will notify me when to take my vehicle into the shop to fix the squeaky brake issue. She was saying somewhere in a week or so. I really like this car, but when something so noticeably wrong occurs it just hurts the experience....

I have a performance pack gt and mine does the same thing trust me it's just the mustang in general it's something on the brakes
Inifiniti FX and others have had and do have this issue. My girlfriends FX had it all the time. Took it back several times they did the front brakes. After a few weeks it came back. Found out that it was an issues with Inifiniti brakes and they would not hit the rotor square. I removed her brakes and Installed performance drilled and slotted rotors and performance pad greased correctly. Guess what. never happened again. Maybe Ford has this issues. What is the difference between the 2015 and the 2014? One of the reasons I will never buy the firs or second year of a new model.

A TSB HAS BEEN RELEASED MARCH 10

Call your dealership now to look it up. There are part numbers for new pads and rotors. The pads are the same, but the rotors are updated. Have them place your order today!
Thanks again Rachel at Ford for getting the ball rolling.

I'm just glad they are finally fixing the problem. Just in time for the warm weather days.
I sure hope they install those new rotors on cars that are being built right now or just got built....hmmm like mine. Toyota was bad for that by putting crappy parts on their trucks and having the customers playing the game by going back and forth to the dealers and listening to the service managers blah blah blah!
Just dropped off Mustang
Of course I called first explaining the TSB, and they said to bring it in (3rd time!!). First thing the technician said is (I showed him the TSB) is "sorry man we don't have those parts yet, but we'll try to clean up the brakes".
What am I missing here?

That TSB is dated 10 March. It will take a while to get all the parts manufactured and out to the dealers. I'd be willing to bet that the first run of parts went to all those cars that were built and held for a few weeks pending testing of the final parts.

Thanks Spectre, well either way something needs to be done ASAP as I let the car roll out of the garage in the morning without touching brakes to not wake up the neighbors, and the chassis slamming into the ground each time due to the incline can't be helping the car. Lesson learned on buying first new model of a car... Good thing I leased it and can get rid of it in three years as this is not the only problem.
Update
So they inspected the vehicle and what a surprise it is this known issue. So they ordered the new parts and will be here 2-4 weeks. But apparently I had to bring the car in just to get to that point as someone else said. I don't understand why I would need to bring it in if it's a widely known issue, but whatever, god forbid anyone makes this easy
