GT350 to be revealed on 11. 17. 14
First, I'm super pumped about this car. The handling, and fast revving V8, BIG brakes, proper PSS tires, lower CG and the SOUND of that flat-lane crank! Depending on the price I may be very tempted to trade my '14 GT TP for this car.
Second, if you go through the effort of redesigning forward of the windshield I was hoping for a better looking front end. It does look better than a normal S550, it's a bit cleaner, but I was hoping for more of a departure. The angle shot looks pretty cool though.

Think about the R&D that went into that engine. It would be wasteful just to keep it for such small production. As far as expense, the actual production of the engine can't be much more the the Coyote. It probably has better rods, and pistons, but other then that, the money was in the development.
They played up the 5.0 as developed exclusively for the GT and it wound up in the F150.

lowered 2 inches!? and those rear tires are MEAT.
Maybe this is the car where all of the 2015 rumors of weight reduction will be seen.
The GT350 should quiet all the detractors who say that it's pointless to develop a high performance Mustang unless it can compete directly with the Hellcat. The Dodge will kill 'em on the drag strip, but will be impotent on a road course. At 707 hp it's almost useless on the street, so it's only real claim to fame will be awesome straight line performance.
500 normally aspirated HP is very impressive indeed. With the suspension tweaks and IRS, it's the GT350 that'll set the bar for "balanced".

If it's $50-55k, I'm trading in. LOL
I think Ford will price it at about 60K but then the stupid dealers will have a field day tacking on at least an extra 20K over MSRP.
it's a definite improvement over most my gripes on the base s550 GT, but i'm still not going to buy a first generation. The power sounds fine to me, but the body improvements are great. That hood definitely means business as do the vents on the forward fenders. Love the quad tips and the sound too. How much $$ i wonder?

Source on the 5.0L as exclusive? It was always meant to replace the 4.6/5.4, meaning duty in the Mustang and F150.
Now show me a ruby red with black stripes and I'll have a very difficult decision to make.... Magnetic or Ruby Red!!?? Haha
I'll really have to have a hell of a 2015, but I would love to get my hands on one of these!! Would not trade my 2014 gt tp for a 2015 gt pp... But this... Ermagerd
