GT350 to be revealed on 11. 17. 14
If that is a production ready engine bay, the intake is a big departure from previous short runner high rpm pieces. (Boss/CJ) Should be interesting to see how they got 8000+ out of it.
Hope the composite text on the core support goes away...
Brakes should be more than up to task for the street tire application.
Guesses on how long till Ford either releases 'ring times or these show up for testing?

I have noticed there is about a 10 year sweet spot. After about 10 years, a popular used performance car will start to go back up in overall value depending on condition. Porches are a great example. Anyone considering a 2007 GT500 might want to pull the trigger soon, and it might be too late for any 03-04 SVT Cobras that are still stock.
I was hoping for at least some blue cam covers and some satin finishes.

This is a pre-production vehicle, right? I wonder what the actual car will look like? I'm sure it will look relatively close. I bet it goes well over 500 HP and 400 lbs. of TQ.

Yes ! they are indeed pre production models, but I'm sure the actual production models will be about the same..
According to Ford's website, the production models will be available in fall of 2015

Your very welcome and IIRC, your bet is pretty much a sure thing as well.
At 500 HP with 400 lb torque, you'll have more than enough power coming from a smaller N/A 5.2 mod motor over the competition which still rely on large displacement, push rod technology as their better alternative

All variable prototype vehicles come with no VIN and even though most of them typically have in excess of $1,000,000 of R&D they are always eventually crushed and destroyed.
I suggest that the production vehicles will look very similar to this car but until Ford gets all finished with all of the assembly and testing of their TT and PP cars we can expect some changes prior to mass production whether they comestic or functional.

I'm guessing option C with the weigh reduction option.
Up to 35 lbs lighter than the TR-6060, but at the cost of strength. Looks like this one maxes out around what the GT-350 is putting down. Also has 1 O/D gear vs 2 in the 6060.
