here's the thing. I don't like what my license plate says right now. it says "FLY" then 4 numbers after it. I didn't choose it, the dealer just gave it to me when I bought my 2012. This dealer right now that I'm buying my 2015 from is saying it's an extra $150 for new plates and these new plates will have a different combination of letters/numbers. Should I just get new plates?

 

Got the call- mines been delivered to my dealership! Picking her up Saturday! Can't wait!!

3/24 In Production. EDD still 4/20.
3/25 Window Sticker showed up. Deysha was dead on.

Cotus is pulling the no vehicle found today.

This waiting thing is hard.

Hey Will3212: If you're considering getting rid of your old plates, maybe you should look into how much a custom "stang15" plate would be! If you're going to have to pay for a new plate, might as well have fun with it (as long as the renewal fee isn't too awful!)

My car has made it to Texas, now in line for a car hauler to my dealership.

 

She's here !!!!!!!!!!!! Picked her up yesterday early afternoon. I still can't believe that I finally own my dream Mustang. It still hasn't sunk in. *sniff*

Here's the time frame :
Ordered : 1/28
In Order Processing Completed On : 2/23
In Production Completed On : 3/2
Awaiting Shipment Completed On : 3/3
In Transit Completed On : 3/23 (Delivered but Cotus still says in Transit)

Dealer called as soon as it came in, had told him earlier not to drill the front bumper. Will get the retractable license plate (any recommendations ?).

Also need to figure out the stripes, called a auto shop, they said it could range anywhere from $500 - $1000, isn't that expensive ? AmericanMuscle.com and other websites sell for much cheaper right ?

Mine came in yesterday and I'll be picking her up on Saturday. I have pics but can't post them due to the app not letting me so I'll have to figure out how or if I can post pics on here. Congrats and I feel the same! Can't believe she's mine!!

 

I figured as much for mine. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow to see what's up. I had a 3lb Lobster yesterday to celebrate. It's just 16 miles from house right now. 10 miles from the dealer. I'm busy tomorrow, but Friday would be a perfect day to pick it up. I just remembered I have to get a toll tag. I better do that tomorrow.

 

My EDD just got changed to 3/29 from 4/1. I'm calling them at lunch to see what they can tell me. Maybe, it's already there. I was so hoping for a Friday or Saturday pickup. They are closed on Sunday, which is the 29th. That means Monday if the date is accurate.

 

Okaaaaay, the dealer just told me I'm 2 weeks from getting my car, but couldn't tell me where it was. I got the railcar number. So, I'm going to check it now.

My EDD for mine is next Saturday (4/4) per cotus, but my dealer is telling me 2 weeks at least at this point. Either way, the date is close and I am getting more anxious every day.

 

I confirmed it. The car is at the rail yard as of this morning at 6:05AM. I can't believe I wasn't able to get the railcar number until the day it was delivered. Now, it's just a matter of how long it takes to get a truck.


I let them know. My old rep isn't responding to my text messages anymore. I'm guessing he's on vacation or gone. I've been dealing with someone else, who is new, but much more responsive.


I looked at it from Google Earth and street view, and there's a huge lot full of cars being loaded on trucks. 1000's of cars. I'm tempted to drive by and see how full the lot is. I just might do that when I pick up the kids today.

That's what my Sales Lady said, She said it can take 1 day up to 5 days to load on a car Hauler.. But Rest Assure My Car Is Very Close !!!
