2015 Ordered/Built/Delivered Thread

First post here, but long time Mustang fan. I have owned a 91 black LX 5.0 hatchback, 2010 red GT Premium, 2013 black GT Premium and I now have a 2015 red GT Premium on order. Here is the breakdown of what I ordered:
2015 GT Premium Fastback in Race Red
6-speed manual
401A Equipment Group
Enhanced Security Package
Reverse Sensing System
3.55 Limited Slip Rear Axle
20" Bright Machined Aluminum Wheels
Premier Trim with Color Accent
I met with the dealer on 3/21 to put it all together and get it ordered. Said he would get in touch with me when he had a VIN and build date.
I ordered my black 13 GT and had it within 5 weeks. I was pretty blown away on how fast I got it! But that was back in 2012 and I don't remember all the milestones and when they were after the order is entered.
Should I be getting a VIN and build date here soon since I am coming up on 4 weeks as of this weekend? Dealer hasn't been able to give me too much info besides that they would contact me. Thanks for any input!

I was told my car had a build date of next week. I checked COTUS today, as I do everyday, and to my surprise, it shows it as "In Production"!! There's no window sticker available though. I'm really excited to see it (possibly) being built, but ... is the status change just a tease?
Just checked the COTUS website And see my estimated delivery date was bumped to 4/23. Although I know better than to believe what I see there. Fingers crossed that is true. I purchased my car out-of-state and I only have Thursdays and Fridays off to be able to go pick it up. That and my current lease is due back on the 25th.

Ordered mine back on 3/7 and was able to see it in COTUS for the first couple of weeks, but now it's been stuck on "vehicle not found" for the last couple weeks. Anything to worry about? Hate having to bug everyone for updates.

The results frequently come back not found. I think each of us has panicked when we saw that on our own car, but it isn't usually a problem. The Ford Service person on this thread, Deysha, is on top of things and is a tremendous help. Pm her with your order number and dealer code and she will get back to you. Also look back to KStev's post listing the two order tracking sites. I have seen one site find mine and the other report not found. Good luck!

still on track for a 4/21 delivery. I spent the weekend cleaning and re-organizing the garage. A convertible needs a warm place to sleep at night.

Gaaaahhhh!!!!! I'll be out of town... Transit time has been upgraded to 8 days. On the plus side after stepping off the plane I'll be able to go the next day and pick up the car.

I may be in the same boat as you. Mine is sitting at the rail yard awaiting a truck to get it to the dealer. I go out of town for 2 weeks this Saturday, so I am hoping it will be delivered so I can take it. If not, it should be there when I get back.

You're not alone. I retired last April and knew I'd have a '14 GT 'vert within a few weeks. Before I even went looking I spent over a week completely revamping my garage (which had never housed a car). It's amazing how much crap you can throw out when you're motivated. It ain't pretty, but my Mustang seems to like it.
