I'd pay to do that.. What a kick! I've been in that plant, 10 years ago, before I had a mustang myself. It was so cool! I would love to see mine being built.

I've ordered 4 mustangs and none were close to that quick. It was a brand new order (11), not a modified stock order. Must be nice.

 

I did look at the rail yard area with Google Maps and the area where loads are dropped off is a huge operation. I quess loads have to wait their turn to be unloaded. Both Norfolk Southern and CSX have operations there.

Just went in to the dealer to remind them not to install the front plate bracket. And there she was! They were just gettin' ready to call me. Had to jet home to get my paperwork. Woohoo! This car was ordered on the 16th of Feb. That was fast.

 

Congratulation on your new ride! Wish mine would have come that fast. I ordered 9 days before you, and COTUS is showing an estimated delivery of 4/4. It is sitting in the "Awaiting Shipment" stage right now and the days are seeming to go by slowly. I will have it soon enough though.

 

That is a beautiful thing, spiker! That is less that 5 weeks. COTUS says delivery for me is 4/10 and the ordered date is 3/10. I hope that holds true and that order times are dropping. Enjoy the whole summer! I was hoping I wouldn't get mine in August, and have the nice weather be over...

Man, they were busy in there yesterday. My salesman sold three stangs himself. Two GT's and a V6. No wonder he was in grinning from ear to ear. Anyways, didn't get out of there until 930pm. I'll get some pics of her when I get some good lighting today. Oh, and I was grinning my **** off too on the ride home.

It looks mine is finally going to be unloaded from the rail car. The EDD was changed from March 28th to March 24th. But with all the calls my sales person has made, it might be the 23rd.

 

I finally have an estimated delivery date.

 

COTUS updated today. My estimated delivery date was pushed back from 3/30 to 4/1. No big deal. I'm just glad to hear something. For the last couple of days it had gone back to Awaiting Shipment. The dealership is not giving me any information on how to track the railcar. Then again, they haven't told me anything I've asked since the beginning.


I found a posts on various forums that state the railcar is listed on the Vehicle Visibility Report. I just texted my rep and asked him to send it to me. Hopefully, I'll get a response this time.
