I just got a call from my new rep. It's there! He's going to go see it and make sure it's actually there and that they don't put the plate holder our logo on it.
He's going to call me back when it's ready.
Ok, it's not there. It's been loaded in the system as in stock. So now it's a matter of finding out it I get it today or tomorrow. Ok, now I'm impatient, lol. Today would be a perfect day to get it. Tomorrow I might not be able to get off early.

Missing Tonneau Caps
I purchased (and took possession) of mine in early February and am still waiting to hear from either Ford or the dealer about the missing tonneau caps. If anyone has a phone number or contact at Ford, please let me know.

just a quick suggestion for you lucky new mustang guys and gals- should only take a couple minutes to take close up pics of the underside perimeter of your hood- if (hopefully not) within the next three years you start seeing bubbling and Ford denies warranty, if you can show it wasnt there at new and MUST be corrosion, might save you some hassles...
Hopefully the aluminum corrosion issues are/have been taken care of, but I'm still a bit skeptical- pics are cheap, might be worth documenting

I know it! I'm really excited, even if it's another day. This wait has been nothing. I pre ordered a Kairos hybrid mechanical/smartwatch last fall, and I'm still waiting. Good things are worth waiting on. In fact, the wait makes it even better even it arrives.

No car today. They said they tried to get it in today, but looks like it will be here tonight or tomorrow. They even told me my new rep was checking all day. When the rep came by he told me he was going to call as soon as it arrives. I'm going to try to cut it if work early tomorrow.
I think I'll go have a steak or something nice. I can't help but be happy right now.

Dealer just texted me several pictures. Here's the full car shot. The paper on the windshield has instructions to not install the front plate holder or dealer logo.
I'm going to leave work as early as I can tomorrow. I have to give a presentation first thing in the morning, then I have to go down the Galveston Island, which is 70 miles from the dealer. Not the best day to leave early, but I'll make it work. If I didn't have that presentation, I'd totally skip out on work tomorrow.

I just ordered personalized plates for my car. Since the car is Ruby Red, and I love the show RWBY (pronounced "Ruby"), I decided to name my car RWBY. I could not believe that RWBY was available as a plate name considering the show is made here in Texas. I even got the plate in maroon, which was the closest I could get to the car's color. I'm hoping this will also help the plate blend into the car and not stand out so much.

Finally, A Window Sticker. Cotus, which has indicated In Production for a few days now, lists In Order Processing as being completed today 3/30??? Anyway, It still feels like things are moving along, excitement building.I have to say that the whole process of choosing, ordering and waiting for this car has been so different than any other car buying experience I've ever had. After several weeks on this thread I feel like we appreciate the cars so much more because we had this time to to dream about it. The delayed gratification somehow increased the payoff at the end. It is so much more personal than going down and grabbing one off the lot, To Paraphrase Full Metal Jacket, This is my Mustang, there are NO Mustangs like her and this one is mine.

Every time you pull up the window sticker, that date on the bottom changes. The build date is listed at the top next to the word "blend". Ignore the first number and the rest will be year/month/day.

2/6 Placed order with dealer
2/9 Order was placed with Ford
2/19 After Deysha's help I was able to get the order number and found the order was wrong.
2/20 Had order fixed.
3/12 VIN showed up
3/17 Estimated Delivery Date of 4/20
3/24 In Production. EDD still 4/20.
3/25 Window Sticker showed up. Deysha was dead on.
3/31 Production complete. Awaiting shipment.
Getting excited.
2/9 Order was placed with Ford
