Well I finally got my Vin number and my dealer contacted me and let me know that my beautiful beautiful car will be built on the week of March 30

 

Good question. I'd like to know too. I'm in Houston. Mine should load any day now of it hasn't already. Released last Sunday. Estimated delivery is the 25th.

 

When I asked my salesperson, they had less information than I did. I have had a VIN number for 3 weeks, window sticker today, and they called today to tell me they just got the VIN and will find out what week it will be built and update me on that.

I shouldn't have, but I just played along like it was new news to me. On my next update, maybe I will let them in on things and tell them the ETA I have from Deysha. Or maybe I will just call them when I get the update that it is in transit.

 

I told mine everything I knew and made sure they realized I was well informed. I was nice about letting them know that I knew more than they were telling me. I showed my rep the COTUS site and window sticker, which he wasn't aware of. I think it made them understand that I was serious about my request to keep my bumper hole free. That's the only thing I'm worried about at this point.

 

Yeah, keeping the bumper hole free is a big deal breaker for me. They have promised and assured me that the front bracket will not be installed. When delivery day gets closer, they will hear from me fairly often to remind them though.

 

I'm in odessa and my date is April 2nd so hopefully it won't be longer than that. I'm in the most agonizing part which is the awaiting transit

 

I am expecting my car to arrive early next week. I called every person at the dealer to remind them not to drill the bumper. I think they felt that I was repeating myself but I did feel I made my point.
My Sto n Show arrived today.

 

I've been keeping track of this issue on the Squeaking Breaks forum here and it was mentioned that the TSB for that was just released on 3/10/2015. Hope that helps you out.

My car has arrived at my dealership, but I called them yesterday and told them to check out that TSB and fix it before I pick it up. I've waited this long... a couple more weeks (or so I'm hoping) of waiting won't kill me.

 

I thought it was released 2/11/15 ?

My delivery date got moved 1 whole day from April 2nd to April 1st. I think cotus is screwing with me

No, it wasn't released by Ford until 3/10/15.

 

Such a pretty day if I HAD my CAR I would wash it myself and let hubby watch! Soon it will be in our garage.

 

Ok, now I'm finally feeling anxious. It's that feeling I usually get the week before I go on a really awesome trip. I've been wasting a lot of time looking at accessories.

 

EDD is now 3/29/2015 ! This car has been on order for 5 months now and it has been the hardest 5 months !

I noticed yesterday that I now have a VIN. Does it seem right that it will take about 2-3 weeks for it to go to production now?

I ordered mine 2/24/2015, when I go pick up my car, do I have to go to the parts dept. and pay more for the caps? or do they come with the car?

I think the time frames vary at times but here is what mine looked like:
Ordered: 2/7/15
VIN: 2/19/15
Window Sticker: 3/11/15
Blend: 3/17/15 (based on window sticker and I understand it can vary)

In my case, it was about a month to go into actual production after getting the VIN number, but I know others that were much faster, so it probably just varies on different factors.
