Is there a reason why the car has not been released from the plant yet? Last week, COTUS said "in transit" with an ETA of 04-07; now it seems it's being held for some reason. Dealer says it's waiting on a car carrier to come and get it, but the window sticker says "rail". I'm beginning to worry that it's being reworked somehow...

 

Your vehicle is in fact traveling by truck, not train, DJUDD. Also, please remember COTUS is not a fully functional site and will have glitches constantly.

After a long wait, here's to hoping that the EDD in this picture comes true!!!!

 

OK! It's been released from the plant (thanks for the good news, Deysha!). Let's hope for a fast trip to the Chicago freight yard! Markham, I think... Can't wait!

My EDD was 5/1, then 4/22, now it's 4/20. What a lovely day to arrive in Northern California 😋
The train must be rolling thunder.

 

I was just by my dealer for work, so I stopped in to drop off my Sto-N-Sho. They checked on it when I was there. 162 miles left to travel! Now I am getting excited for the delivery. Cotus shows 4 more days.

 

Now up to 4/21

 

Woo hoo! Mine is In Transit! Delivery changed from 4/13 to 4/18, but since it is on its way, who's complaining!

As always Deysha, thank you so much for your help. I have been watching the cotus site daily getting excited, then the estimated delivery date disappeared today. You got to me before I could message you this time. Thank you again for all you do.

 

Thanks, Deysha! Does it get trucked to the rail car and then trucked from the rail car to the dealer, or is it on the truck directly to the dealer, do you know?

 

My EDD got pushed back a day over the weekend . I'm on call for work next week, but maybe I can finagle (sp?) a half day vacation to drive all over. Seems like we have a bunch of cars in transit this week, and therefore a bunch of EXCITED new owners!

I was told my car had a build date of next week. I checked COTUS today, as I do everyday, and to my surprise, it shows it as "In Production"!! There's no window sticker available though. I'm really excited to see it (possibly) being built, but ... is the status change just a tease?

 

Just checked the COTUS website And see my estimated delivery date was bumped to 4/23. Although I know better than to believe what I see there. Fingers crossed that is true. I purchased my car out-of-state and I only have Thursdays and Fridays off to be able to go pick it up. That and my current lease is due back on the 25th.

 

so has it arriven yet? need pics when it does! It looks beautiful in the website
