You could always flash your PCM back to 2012

That is a realistic option.

If the black box converter can be fixed and improved, and a converter for the cruise done as well, then that is the way to go for automatic owners like me.

But seeing as how I survived all bruised and cut up from doing my pony lights, how hard can going through the firewall and engine bay really be? ... ...

Or I could just never again manually put the car into gear!

Easy. I did that for my gt500 dual fuel pumps. You go through the hole next to the SJB into the passenger fender. Remove the two inner fender covers and run the wire next to the other ones back into the engine bay. No bruised fingers.

No problem. Feel free to contact me any time.

The wires will come out right where the PCM is.... No one will ever notice...

Ditto, I did this for my amp wire. Ford put a place for it in the grommet. Jim, you could always convert to 6 speed-Manual -Matt

Don't laugh, but I don't know much about performance mods. What does a dual fuel pump do for you?

The GT500 has two pumps in the tank to deliver enough fuel for the Supercharged Engine. The 4.6 3V has one. As I supercharged mine, the general recommendation is to upgrade the fuel pump to the GT500 ones (FRPP has a kit for that) to ensure enough fuel delivery for the engine under WOT. The Coyote fuel system is different, so that doesn't apply to you guys. I think I read the coyote has a mechanic pressure regulation, while the 3V and GT500 have an electronic ...but don't nail me down on this.

Coyotes, you can add a electronic BAP...boost a pump for FI.

Yes, that's a way. Pretty common on the 3V, too (cheaper than a GT500 pump)...also avail for the dual fuel pump setup... I guess needed, once you want to hit more than 700rwhp on a 3V...

I did same as other guys. You can pull out passenger wheel well liner and run wires under there like factory. My 2010 had gt500 pumps and Sub Amp wires there. My 2012 has sub amp wires there.

OK, update. It is going to work, but it is not plug and play.

Automatic owners of 2011/12 cars will need to get the 2013/14 sport shift ****. You do NOT need the entire shift box (luckily, I got mine for cheap anyway).

You will also need a male and female connector C307 to plug all the wires into. You will also need female pins to put into connector C175B on the PCM.

I have just ordered the male C307 connector. I will get it in about a week. Full write up in the other thread when I have it totally done next week.

This does add sport shift.

The easy solution is get a GT cluster and put the Black Cat Boss style overlay on it. I should have my overlay soon .....

Ok. done some more reading on this. The 2011+ EPAS has the Steering wheel position switch build in and delivers the information through the HS-CAN.

Matt: Could it be, that the 2013 ABS module gets a signal on Pin 12/34/37 and spits that incompatible software message (as it shouldn't get anything on those PINs)?
I would think, if the steering wheel position is missing on the HS-CAN, that it would throw a fault, rather than incompatible software.

Thoughts?

Btw, i am really thinking about retrofitting the EPAS. The biggest difficulty is to find a proper FEAD belt, without the hydraulic power steering pump. Connections are very easy: Power/Ground from the battery (i think i read like 100A), HS+-CAN and power at run...

Once i found a proper length FEAD belt, i might do this. As i have the 2013 cluster, i can actually use it in the different modes.

The adjustable steering and track apps were the main reason for me getting the 2013 GT500 cluster cause the one in my 2011 GT500 is not attractive to me at all. Oh, and the 220 MPH speedo is pretty sexy if I may say so. I am lucky that I have an electric power steering. Now the questions is what about lunch control.... Food for thought. Good look with trying to get your speedo to work, wish I could help.
