OK,

So the 'as built' data in the ABS module (760-01-01) I have found is:

056E - dmhines' car 2012 premium manual
016A - my car 2012
016A - car I took cluster from 2013 premium auto
016A - 2014 premium auto
016A - 2014 auto
056E - 2014 premium manual
056E - car with brembo brake package 2014 premium auto
056E - 2013 premium manual
056E - 2013 premium auto select shift
056E - 2014 premium auto

Anyone know which code to use? Except for the 2012 cars, all are 5.0 with the 4.2 inch LCD screen

Zero gave this back on page 11. Manual cars I have been looking at mostly have the 056E code, but not all. The automatics vary between 016A and 056E.

I'm confused ...

Here's the as built codes for a 2012 Ford Fusion

760-01-01 3346 4148 50BB
760-02-01 3048 4138 439E
760-03-01 5232 3432 388D
760-04-01 3831 8800 005D
760-05-01 1924 0011 20DB
760-06-01 0000 0000 006E

And here it is for a Ford F 150:

ABS 760-01-01 3146 5450 57DB
ABS 760-01-02 3134 5633 3991
ABS 760-01-03 4642 3031 398D
ABS 760-01-04 3235 0400 00D7
ABS 760-01-05 3600 0022 23E8
ABS 760-01-06 0000 02AF 102F

Looks to me that we are missing a few lines of code for the Mustang. Anyone out there able to help?

There really aren't any options on a Mustang so I'm sure just that one line is needed.

Fusion has a Hybrid Version with regenerative braking as well as an all-Wheel Drive version .. so I'm sure ABS had to be customized for each one.

The F150 Comes in both 2WD and 4WD as Tow packages with Tow Stability control ... SO again .. lots of options to program into the module.

FYI .. My used DR33 ABS module shipped today. Should have it Monday according to tracking number. Not sure if it came out of 2013 or 2014. Supposedly it came out of a 5.0 Automatic car .. just hoping the AS-BUILT matches ... sounds like there were more 056E's than 016A's so keeping my fingers crossed.

I have noticed that the track apps cars mostly had 056E, but some had 016A. At first I thought it may be because O56E was manual and 016A was automatic, but that is not the case either. And both those codes apply to 2012s as well.

I'm hoping you'll have good news for us on Monday.

I just texted seller to get VIN number so I can check the AS-BUILT. Hopefully he has it. I think by law all Salvage companies have to keep track of VIN numbers of salvage parts and cars.

I think you are right about the the Mustang having only 1 code.

2012 Fusion 3FAHP0HA8CR242881 has 6 lines of code, but any Mustang I put though always has 1 line regardless of it being 2011 to 2014.

Which means, what difference does it make if I use 016A in the ABS module versus 056E?

If it works in your car, then we will have our answer - it doesn't matter. Sounds like plug and play.

Shelby and Boss shows no change either in code.

2012 Boss - 218A
2012 Shelby - 0972
2012 Boss LS - 41AA

2013 Boss - 218A
2013 Boss LS - 41AA
2013 Shelby - 0972

I got it! I had to see what all the 016A and 056E had in common.

Mustangs with Brembo brakes have 056E while all other Mustangs (except Boss and Shelby) have 016A.

So if your car is Brembo equipped, you want 056E, while I want 016A

Crap ... they are selling the front brakes off the car the ABS module came from .. they are standard brakes .. not BREMBO .. so the AS BUILT will be wrong ...

Don't panick. That was for 2012 cars. Looking into 2013 and 14 now again.

I found a 2013 brembo with a new code - 85EE

760-01-01 016A

760-01-01 3346 4148 50BB
760-02-01 304A 4134 429B
760-03-01 5232 3937 3594
760-04-01 3135 8800 005A
760-05-01 1924 0011 20DB
760-06-01 0000 0000 006E

Well .. I just checked a non-Brembo and a Brembo 2014 GT .. I do see them as 016A vs. 056E.

According to Ford Website the BREMBO package includes Unique Electronic Stability Control tuning. NO idea what the difference is .. but I guess that is why there is different AS-BUILT data.

Hopefully it won't matter .. I'll just have regular GT Tuning instead of Brembo Tuning.

The main issue that we may need Matt for is to get the additional ABS data on the CAN-BUS if its not already there ... just like he did with the gauges.

DO you have a wiring diagram of the ABS module?? Is the module itself connected to the Hi Speed bus that the Cluster is on? If yes .. then the PCM may not be required to get the data on the bus for Track Apps to see.

EDIT: OK .. I see in 2011 Wiring Diagram both the cluster and ABS module are on the HighSPeed CANBUS .. this is good .. hopefully the ICS can communicate directly with ABS module to get TRACK APP data and no PCM updates or black box update is needed.

Now just have to also hope there is no VIN MISMATCH error .. or a trip to the dealer will be necessary.

Cars with no LCD I am finding have 016A. 1 LCD car had 026B (convertible). I am now finding brembo cars with 85EE, 066F and one Brembo car without LCD had this:

760-01-01 016A

760-01-01 3346 4148 50BB
760-02-01 304A 4134 429B
760-03-01 5232 3937 3594
760-04-01 3135 8800 005A
760-05-01 1924 0011 20DB
760-06-01 0000 0000 006E

I give up. We NEED Matt!

I just checked a bunch of 2014 VIN's from EBay .. I don't see anything like that when I check a Mustang VIN ... what are all those extra lines?

I think you were right .. Brembo cars have different tuning .. hence the 056E. Brembo brakes are available on base cars so there would be no LCD .

1ZVBP8CF0D5220523 - 2013 brembo no LCD - 85EE

1ZVBP8FF6D5233353 - 2013 vert with LCD - 026B

1ZVBP8FF0D5212627 - 2013 brembo vert no LCD - 066F

I can't find the really weird one anymore.

For 2014 I am getting the same results as above, except:

1ZVBP8CF0E5277838 - Brembo coupe LCD - 85EE

85EE before was coming up with no LCD.

That one weird one we can ignore, I think.

I can safely assume that I use 016A, just as I think you would use 056E. But if the codes are the same, then why would we need to input 2013/14 as built data?

I hoping it is as simple as plugging in the new module.

I see the 85EE .. strange. Maybe its a different Module manufacturer? Also .. I think the newer 2014 Mustangs Support the Track Key just like a Boss 302 ... so maybe it has something to do with that.

Going to see my tech guy tomorrow and talk about this. We will input the 016A code and see what happens. Apparently some memory changes need to be done as well. dmhines, I assume that with your module you won't need to worry about the memory changes.
