'13-14 Cluster into '10-12 car (with TrackApps) retrofit
323Window what kind of swap did you do exactly? What cluster to what model car?
Why could they not load the as built data?
Maybe It'll be more clear when I get my scan tool but I thought I would just load the as built in one shot but now it seems like you have to do things individually?

Looks like I'll most likely be getting just a 5.0 cluster with the screen. Would love to get a gt500 cluster but I can't find any used and I am NOT paying the full price for a cluster. I refuse lol. I just recently got my 2011 gt/cs and thats what it will be going in.
For me, Its more of the "coolness" factor. I feel like it adds a luxurious feel to the interior. It looks great and It seems much more convenient that the small screen I have now. Plus it just looks fantastic. And I'm hoping we can get some more things worked out. I could care less about track apps though. Like the others have said, what will you even use it but maybe a couple times when you first get it? To me its like Siri on the iPhone. She was really cool for a couple weeks. Probably haven't used Siri in over a year now..

Hello ajpturbo,
I did a swap similar to Matt, Jim, and Zero by following there instructions on this thread. My cluster came from a 2013 Premium and I installed it in my 2012 base model 5.0/auto.
Why could they not load the as built data?
I think it was inexperience on the techs part (he did not know he was supposed to load it manually) and inexperience on my part by not telling him exactly what I wanted. (I just gave him a vin # of a 2013 premium/auto car and asked him to load as built data from it) Hopefully I will have better luck next time I take the car in.

Hello Matt,
ajptorbo made me think of another question. Now that I have pats done, and my car cranks up fine with the new gauge panel, will I have to have pats done again when I have the dealership load the as built data manually? Sorry for all the questions, but I just want to have all the bases covered before I take the car in again.

You are not wrong, but we have been able to get the guages to work, and are now working on the cruise and Track Apps.

OK, I have a cruise solution that is about as functional as can be.
The first pic (courtesy of Zero) shows the resistors as they are in a 2013/14 switch.
The second pic shows what you need to change the resistors to.
Buttons will have the following functions:
Cncl/Rsm - is now 'on'
On/Off - is now 'off'
-set - is the same
+set - is the same
The light indicators on the cluster still won't light up, but cruise will function almost as indicated on the buttons.
