Sadly this project on my end has come somewhat to a Hault.

I no longer have a car to test with

I will however be selling the 14' Cluster, I'm going to throw in a converter box in hopes someone will help me continue development.

Sad day indeed. I will have the cluster listed in the forsale section shortly.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss Zero. I really hope nobody was injured.

I read every one of the 584 posts in this thread almost in one evening. As an aerospace engineer I found it fascinating and gratifying how Jim, DM, Zero, and others peeled back the layers of the onion one by one to solve multiple technical mysteries to (almost) achieve the final objective. I'd even go so far as to say that, for me anyhow, this thread almost read like a Tom Clancy thriller!

I thank you all for your effort, and wish you future success.

It was a major bummer. I'm not going to go on about how stupid female drivers are, but ya know.

For those interested in picking up a cluster or the conversion kit get it here (https://themustangsource.com/f722/fs...ersion-526612/)

So here is where I left off.

I got a 2013 ABS module and started working on the firmware. I found 95% of the stuff that needed to be modified to work in our cars. I got everything working except the 0-60 timer. And I have a theory of what needs to be changed, sadly though, I cant test anymore.

So is it doable, absolutely, gonna cost you about $229 for the ABS module, and I'll gladly flash it for you for free. (Just pay two way shipping).

Also, i'm open to answering any questions I can

Thanks for the support guys!

Hello Matt,

Sorry to here about you Mustang. This is my first time posting, but I have followed this thread since Oct. I would like to know if I could get one of your black boxes? I have a 2012 Mustang with a 2013 guage cluster that I installed followings the instructions provided by dm hines, Jim010 and yourself. I would really like to get the extra guages working. Thanks for all the information you guys provided.

Welcome to the forum, Scott. You may also want the modded cruise switch from Matt. The function of the buttons will be changed, though. But a solution is to take the buttons off the switch module, sand and paint them. Then have a laser engraver etch the words back onto the buttons, but on the proper corresponding buttons this time. This is what I am doing.I will be attempting to get the track apps working after Christmas.Cheers

Thanks Jim,

Yes I would like to have the modified 2013 cruise switch. My car is also an automatic. Did you get the trans temp guage to work in your panel? Good luck with the track apps.

$160 for an LCD cluster. Can't beat that.

It is km/hr, but I have a miles per hour face if someone wants it to go with this cluster.

At a price like that, it had to go. Would have made my life easier if I could have gotten a metric cluster for myself.

In the end, I did get the metric face for my cluster, and now an imperial face laying around.

FYI, I have bought an abs module. Should be in my hands next week. I will then take it in to the dealer to get 'as built' data programmed in using VCM.

I will keep you all posted. Matt will be helping me with this.
