I installed the 13' Boss cluster in my 14' premium GT. Did the PMI for IPC, all seemed good. I did the PATS relearn even though I don't think I needed it. I think the PMI for the cluster took care of that but I wasn't sure.
I lost the mycolor but I think it's because I need to update the as built. I got a message that says "configuration could not be transferred from old module. This new module will require manual entry of configuration data saved during vehicle assembly. Contact the as built data center to obtain the information that needs to be filled in on the next screen".
Cluster seems fully functional minus the mycolor. Which is strange because my car has it and I'm pretty sure the Boss did that I got the cluster from, but not sure
SO I need to go to the ford site and enter my vin to get the as built data then just update the IPC as built?
Anyone know the website?

Well this is gay...I got around to loading the as built for my GT for the IPC and still no mycolor. I manually entered the data like it requested and it didn't work...I loaded the boss as built and my GT as built. No luck...Not a huge deal but I don't understand why if both cars came equipped with it why it wouldn't be there.
Did you use 2013 BOSS AS-BUILT?
According to the 2013 ordering guide the BOSS has MyColor, the 2012 did not have it.
EDIT .. Duh .. I forgot . your putting the cluster in a 2014 not a 2012. Brain fart.
I do think there was another guy who posted in this thread saying MYCOLOR was not working in his cluster either. Not sure if he resolved it.

HHmm not sure hines....I used the boss vin you sent me. Thought you said it was a 13' But shouldn't matter I don't think because I also loaded my GT 14' as built maybe I should double check that I have a 13' boss as vin
I think the only decent resolution for the Cruise is either Flash the 2012 Cluster with 2013 Firmware (in progress ... I tried with IDS and there is no way to do it - Zero is trying a custom loader to get it to flash - I was able to supply him with the firmware thanks to IDS)
Other option is to just install a 2013 PCM ... which I will do if we cannot get the 2012 PCM flashed successfully. I have send emails out to find a used 2013 PCM .. a brand new one is $400 ...
The PCM flash/replace will basically make the car a 2013 - fix the cruise issue and also activate all the gauges without a black box.

Yes . I sent you a 2013 Boss VIN. I have no idea why mycolor doesn't work .. I am wondering if it is defective?

I'm working on it. I'm researching two options right at the moment, one that dhmines mentioned above.

I wouldn't think defective. I bought it brand new from a dealer. But I don't even see it on the LCD menu. I think it's on the main screen, I don't think I'm missing it. I looked all over

When you run IDS start a NEW season ... so press X when it asked you to continue.
It will then connect to PCM and verify VIN. Reply yes that all is correct.
Then do a PMI on the IPC .... it will again ask you if VIN is correct ... reply NO .. it will ask you for the correct VIN .. type in the BOSS VIN. Also make sure you say you DONT have the original module if it asks. It will then download the correct calibration from FORD for the BOSS VIN if necessary and reload the CLUSTER.
See if that works. No idea if this will mess up PATS but I doubt it.
