'13-14 Cluster into '10-12 car (with TrackApps) retrofit
#2141
Read through this post over the last few days. Very interested in doing this to my 2011 GT. Question, I saw reference to someone that had Roush programmed PCM. Was there ever a solution to this? I am running the Roush Phase 3 on my car and my PCM was sent to them to be reprogrammed. I know I can run the blackbox but would like to have everything working including the cruise lights. Thanks

The lights on the cruise switch will work if wired correctly (I kinda screwed up the first time :P) I know that a ford IDS tool can not properly configure a Roush PCM so what I would do is send it to Roush again and see if the will reprogram it to a 2013 or 14 and see if it works if not your best bet is the black box. Matt if you have anything to add your expertise would probably be more useful than mine.
I would add that the cruise lights will work only if you program the PCM. If using the Black Box, then you need to modify the switch. But even with modifying, the cruise lights won't work.

I also think you may need to go with a Black Box to avoid the hassles.

I am thinking I will try Roush, might tell them I demodding to see if they will put stock config back on the computer. Other option might be to look for a PCM from a salvage. Car will be parked in the next month or two for winter so will see what I can do during the downtime.

Does anyone know how difficult it would be to swap the Roush stage 3 speedo (220 MPH) into a Canadian GT? I'd still want the Canadian roush speedo.
Is it as simple as purchasing the speedometer faceplate and getting it tuned at my dealer?

It is no problem. I had to buy an American cluster. It was a simple matter of just switching out the face with a Canadian one, that is all.
You can have Black Cat Custom do a custom one for you as well.

I just did the conversion last week but still no track apps showing up on my cluster!!! Every time I try to PMI the PCM it reads the 2012 CR3A part number on the PCM and will not let me program it to a DR3A number, so, as a result, no track apps showing up!!! I can't even get in to manually enter the as built data for a 2013 PCM. Each time I try to enter the As Built data, it goes to the Ford website and downloads the as built data for the particular PCM part number that it is reading off of my PCM rather than what I enter as the part number. Anyone encounter this or have a fix for the issue? BES has been trying to help me also since we're local to each other but I seem to keep running into the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

That's strange. BES's directions on the SVT forum are to enter the part number for a 2013+ and PMI the PCM. I put a 2014 ABS module in that I bought from Tousley but that did not enable Track Apps at all. I bought a 2014 SVT cluster plus a 2014 steering wheel and all the correct steering wheel controls from Tousley also. Are you sure that the PCM doesn't have to be PMI'd as a 2013+ since my car is a 2012?

One other thing, for the ABS module, I put in the as built information code 056E which I got from a 2013 GT with track apps to clear the ABS light from flashing (which it did clear it up).

You PMI the ABS module to enable track apps .. without the PMI you should be getting ABS, Traction Control and ESP error lights. You reflash the PCM to a 2013 calibration (at your own risk) to enable Cruise Control and the extra gauges on the cluster.
All the instructions are in the other thread. Make sure when you install you software you indicated your were a DEALER when asked. You can make up a number.

I saw your other thread .. it seems like you had Ford load Base GT As-Built into a GT500 cluster. You need to load Premium GT AS-Built into your cluster to enable Track Apps Menu. You then need to PMI the ABS module to get rid of the error lights - Track Apps function may work even with the ABS error lights on. I know Track Apps worked fine on my car even with all the error lights until I PMI'd the ABS module. My ABS module was used not new.
Keep in mind you cruise will not work properly and the extra gauges like A/F Ration will not work unless your flash your PCM to a 2013.

okay, thanks. I will try that. I will have to uninstall IDS and reinstall it. The ABS module that Tousley sold me is part number DR3Z-2C219-A. They told me this is the one they have been selling everyone that is doing the swap. Is this correct? I have a 2012 GT Track Pack car. Thank you again for your help!! I really appreciate it because I have literally been losing my mind trying to get this issue resolved!!!

Okay, I'll try and see what happens. Right now, the cluster works but track apps is not an option even though I have the abs module and have pmi'd the module so there must be something screwy with it. I'll give it a shot since nothing else is working! Thanks again.
