I just need a new shift **** but I have the "stock threaded" handled so in limited to a boss or Roush ****? (without buying new handle) then I also need a new shift boot, the premium I guess?
Also the stock base boot seems a little tight, the shifter bumps out a little from it in the front. Anyone else have that?

Slight increase in noise in 1-2-3 in the lower RPMs but I'm gonna add some more dynamat and some on the clamshell. Windows open or radio on and you can't hear it at all. It has that nice click into gear but if you shift softly it is silent.

Ive put 200 miles on mine just driving around and I gotta say besides still having the 1-2 bind ( which the factory shifter did also), its been perfect.
Since the streets arent a good idea for spirited hard runs I decided on taken off ramps and exits on highway as a test. , full throttle 7500 rpm and not a single issue. IT HAS DEFINETLY FIXED MY 3RD AND 4 TH lockout issue.

Heres where the noise is coming from, the Ford shifter back bracket has some rubber that dampens sound, Im gonna add some rubber on the MGW back bracket up against the tunnel underneath.

FWIW, I have the white Steeda **** which uses all of the factory OEM rod and boot. It is the white "cue ball" style with the shift pattern emboseed on it. They also offer black.
I ordered the MGW shifter on March 1st, was told should be here by end of month. Julie from MGW Customer Service advised via e-mail it was in this week's batch to be produced. Saw on this thread where they might have some parts shortages, no worries, worth waiting for it sounds like. Thanks to all who have posted pics and tips, etc...
