Hey dude I dunno if you already put the fascia back on, but if not, now is a great time to "install" the "Ford Racing Washer Bottle Delete" kit

Its parked at home for the first time in months. Was so nice, I drove it straight from my friends house where its stayed to a detailer, had them do a rush cleanup on it, by a car show (grabbed compliments), then back home. Its crazy loud (I'm going to have to change the exhaust setup), but even without going near wot or over 4k this thing has crazy throttle response.

What a great day.

I owe a ton of people thanks. All the people who read the threads, all who supported me one way or another, my friends and FRRG guys, the friends who kept me employed by loaning me the boxster, MMR for building the motor and talking me out of the ford crate and answering my incessant questions, tiger racing, shaun at aed, etc.

Knock on wood things keep going well (have had a code for P0300 and P0304 which means I need to hit a dealer up for the neutral relearn procedure). Need the knock sensors, dipstick tube, first oil change (and install the oil cooler kit), get some paint work done, and I'm done!

now I think I'll just have to find someone to trade me their GT500 axle backs and overaxle pipes for my magnaflow system. :/

I have a set of Boss 302 axle backs you can have if you cannot find GT500's.

I am so very happy for you Chris.

I just went through an engine swap myself in my Bronco and all the little parts setbacks along the way can be so annoying.

But in the end the juice was worth the squeeze.

Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction/Relearn Am I really going to have to pay the dealership $135-168 to have this done? Called all the dealers in the valley, and that was among the more reasonable prices quoted for one hour of labor "If we have to hook 'er up to a laptop".

Is there any other way to complete this procedure with something other than a Ford IDS/VCM setup?

I guess after all the hell Ford has given me, I'm just reluctant to throw them that much money for 10 minutes of their time.
