Build, Delivered VIN Sequence

I emailed my dealer Friday to ask if they are going to give me a new ETA and if they will extend the $750 past my 7/6 dead line. Here is what I got back
"I don't know where to begin. Every mustang coming from the factory built or unbuilt is on hold.
A Ford Rep says end of July is possibly new ETA. I personally do apologize for this delay and feel bad. Ford's main concern is quality control. And that can't be accomplished by pushing vehicles out just to make a deadline. I hope you understand and please call me or my manager with any concerns."

That VIN is kind of useless. 1ZVB P8C F B5M5xxxxxx <-- need those x's. The rest is pretty mucht he same for any 5.0 coupe with the exception of the check digit.

I've been getting car updates just through my dealer, instead of calling CS. On Friday my car was in Cumberland, MD, and today he told me it was in Twin Oaks, PA (It's kinda strange to me that Twin Oaks is farther from my dealership than Cumberland, MD, but I'm not gonna question the logistics of a railroad company).
Anyways, question for anyone who has had their car delivered to the east coast, where does the car go after Twin Oaks? My dealership is in south jersey, so I wasn't sure if there is another train stop, or if it gets on a truck now.

My car was shipped by convoy to the railyard early this morning. Don't think there's an ETA, but my rebate expires 7/6. Don't think I'll get it within 7 days in time, but we'll see.

3-4 days by rail to Jessup and then another 1-4 days to your dealer depending on transports, # of cars, etc. It's going to be close.

If you're sure the car is actually moving, just go ahead and contract the car, your 1st car note might come few days early but you won't have to haggle overlosing the rebate.

Congrats on getting your car shipped out joker! If your car takes the same rail as mine you have a pretty good idea of how long it'll take. Just don't get over excited when it hits Jessup cause mine sat there for a couple days before hitting the dealership.
Maybe now your avatar will calm back down and have a spliff.
