I kinda feel your pain. My # was very close to yours and I've had mine 10 days now. But my builder STILL hasn't started my garage yet, and my (white) GT is sitting in the middle of the front yard,in the HOT Fl. SUN. --COOKING!

I been feelin like my car can show up any day so I drove by dealer lot last night. There was a Performance white sittin there so I checked out window sticker 131665 one number before my vin! Is mine inside PDI building? Been without a Mustang since 5-19. Went to Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup in Steamboat Co. 5-17 _ 5-20 we are a sponcer at work, was so hard not to have mine in time for that! Got stuck drivin our 70 Rest mod with 04 Cobra interior and driveline including IRS was way fun but still missing my own car. My 10 I traded in is still sittin on there lot for sale! They are a sponcer of the same show and just became a Roush dealer and had a red candy Roush vert. I was tempted to go for It instead of my Red Candy GT/CS i'm waiting for but patience is a virtue too bad I left mine somewhere! Can't remember where though, LOL!!!!

Yes, my original no later than time was June 4th for the Ford Nationals at Carlisle. After missing that business venture, I looked forward to my birthday (7/9) but my $750 private offer expires 7/6/10... Based on the unchanged status on my car as of 6/25/10, the shortage of transporters causing a rolling delay of 400+ units daily, there was no possible way for the car to arrive before July 6th.
I even offered to make arrangements to pick it up myself or via a trucking company out of my own pocket on top of the standard $850 delivery...

That is hilarious
I wish the best to whom ever purchases that Mustang, I'm sure they will enjoy it.

Wonder if it's not going off site for the Glass Roof until all the quality BS is fixed. Can there still be SOMETHING else that will slow down my delivery?!?
#854
I don't think "shipped offsite" means VPC per se. Montreal Ponies got the glass roof and his vehicle visibility makes no mention of being shipped offsite. Mine has a glass roof and has been offsite 3x now.

Update again: Car did not arrive at the dealership on Saturday. Not surprising, it was kinda sitting on the fence for arriving in time on Saturday or being a Monday/Tuesday thing. I'm hoping to hear word tomorrow that the car has arrived at the dealership, then it will all depend on the speed of financial arrangements. Contingencies are in place to ensure this happens, but that sure bet is a less resort.

I highly doubt that they do, we do the glass roofs on all our vehicles right on the line. Cars that get them just have a different roof reinforcement configuration and obviously no roof panel. All vehicles are sent through paint, then return and are run through the area where the glass roofs are installed on the cars that require them. It's actually the first step done before any oher trim is put in, and I can't see the Mustang being any different.
Keep in mind that the glass roof isn't just an accessory -- it's actually part of the vehicle structure.
