I received a loaner from a Ford dealership when I had my '05 Mustang in for service. The were going to give me a Focus at no charge, but I paid $4 to upgrade to an Explorer. I think it just depends on the dealer, some like repeat business.

I helped my father in law buy his new 08 GT earlier this year and the whole process at a Ford dealer too 30 minutes tops.

Wow! I think at those prices my next Mustang is going to be another Fox chassis. I just can't justify spending nearly 30k on a new Mustang.

I guess what really frustrates me the most is that Ford is launching a redesigned model with the old engine. Oh wait, there's a whopping 10 hp added.

*sigh* Can you tell I'm slightly annoyed.

Relax bud, the new motor is coming. Better to have it be perfect and a year later, than here now, and problems galore.

67T - Track Package (3.73 rear) - $495
That's a great deal if that's the actual price, but I saw it listed elsewhere at almost $1K higher.

If they are using the '08 Bullitt rear $495 is a steal

The price I listed ($495) IS the price for the track pack. The $1,000 or whatever price that was listed prior, was PURE SPECULATION!! That is why I always say, don't go crazy with replies on prices until Ford releases the "official prices".

To be honest..30k is not a lot of money to spend on a car today. I mean a fully loaded Focus is almost $23k, Fusion $28k..anyway, in the scheme of things it really isn't. That doesn't mean there isn't competition that is near the same price point that offers something that is comparable in performance.

If your talking about that small couple page foldout? Thats already been online via PDF, but it wouldn't hurt to post it up again. The actual brochure/book isn't available yet. Won't be till they show the GT500, as its sure to be in the regular brochure with the V6/GT.

That isn't in the order guide yet. So its either a Job#2 build opiton, or an option for an SE model. Its been in CONCEPTS, but without a price since the 19th!

OK thanks. It might be too expensive anyways. I'm interested in the fact that they would offer some parts off of the GT500. I wonder what effect that would have on the handling? Tighter, stiffer, less body roll? Any thoughts anybody?

I also noticed that Ford seems to be charging more for the premium GT then they have in the past. When I bought my 08 GT there was only about $1500 difference between the standard GT, and the Premium GT. Now the difference is 3 grand. It looks like everything is for the interior, and not really performance related? Maybe it would be better to get a stripped GT for less money and mod it?

Here's the list from the order guide of what comes with the Premium GT:

INTERIOR
Shaker 500
SYNC™
Satellite Radio (6 mos. Complimentary SIRIUS®
Subscription, N/A in AK & HI)

Seats – Leather, 6-way Power Adjustable Driver, 2-way
Adjustable Head Restraint and Power Lumbar

Ambient Lighting – Map pockets and Sill Plate,
Cupholders, Front & Rear Footwells

Bright Aluminum Accent Dash Appliqués, Pedal Covers
Scuff Plate, Shifter ****

6-gauge cluster w/ MyColor™
Door Trim Panel Inserts
Leather Steering Wheel w/ Brushed Spokes
Satin Door Speaker Surrounds
Gloss Paint Center Stack and Console

I know man, but it's a pipe dream for me to ever think I could afford that much. I mean I have to save for another house first. There is no way that I could afford to buy a $28,000 car. Unless I win the lottery.... but then again I don't play

It's cool though, I really love the foxes.

Yes its a 5 or 6 page foldout with a listing of the options, colors, wheels, etc. I had a feeling it was already online somewhere.
Someone is already trying to sell one on ebay..
