Have mine installed tyesterday, the drone city JBA's are off the car now.
I like how EASY it is to change these systems out.........
Next week the X is coming, having it Jet Hot coated for more flow/sound !!

Now with a few hundred miles on them, mine have seemed to get slightly louder. I think having the FRPP X-Pipe on makes quite a bit of difference though, as some on other threads are saying they are just barely louder than stock with the H-Pipe. Mine are quite a bit louder than stock especially at idle and WOT, but just a little louder than stock and no drone at cruise.
Cold start in morning they are quite a step up from stock. Not obnoxiously loud, but have a nice growl to them when pushing the GO pedal. WOT they do sound good.X-pipe might still be down the road, but will probably wait till my 3/36,000 is done with.

I should be getting mine from Ninosports sometime this week or early next week. I plan on running the stock H-pipe for a while. Aircare's description sounds just about what I am looking for.
I just got a new video camera, and I will try to do before and after clips if I can figure out how to use the camera and how to post them.

I've just installed mine!!
x-pipe and Supreme GT Axle-back!
Now the Mustang sounds like it should. From the outside at idle, the tone is lower, I would describe it as "heavy", like a V8 exhaust should sound.
From the inside, I actually think that it is more quiet than stock. Perhaps it's my imagination, but the sound is smoother. The "butt o meter" says the car is a bit quicker and easier to rev. In short, no drone, excellent sound. One of the best mods (at a great price) I've done so far.

Thanks for the write up and posts from everyone.
Ordered mine from ninosports Monday, said they would ship Wednesday, actually shipped Tuesday....received Today. (At an unbeatable price!!)
Need a couple hour break after a 14 hour work day and I'll be slapping them on, just in time for a Friday night cruise!!
From the feedback here, and the sound clips, I'm sure I'll be pleased with the results. Will post again with my impression.
Edit:
I'm happy with the results! Noticebly deeper, slitely louder idle tone. When I step on it I can now hear the exhaust over the CAI sound I had with stock. My passenger side was a pain to get lined up, stock it was higher than the driver side. Fought with it for about 45 minutes then decided to loosen the pipe at the H, no problem lining it up then.
One point: If any of you are 'older' like myself, and used to run 'hotrods' with headers and a cherry bomb or sometimes got away with running open headers....don't start your stang with the mufflers removed. I started mine just to hear it, started having backflashes to the good old days...nearly went cruising without the mufflers. However, I go to work before 5am, I'm sure a 'muffler delete' would NOT be a good thing for me to run!!
Again, thanks for all the input. Another happy Shelby GT muffler from Ninosport customer!

I got the Supreme Performance mufflers in last night and was in a hurry to have them installed so I had a good muffler man put them on today. They are alittle louder than stock but not much. Posted afew pictures of the Ford Racing X Pipe and the new mufflers. I painted the back section black on my stock mufflers and did the same with these. High temp flat black. It helps to hide the mufflers somewhat.
I started the car with the mufflers off and it was pretty darn loud. It would have been fun to drive around today without them but I didn't. I guess that's what the loudmouths sound like?

Here is the link to Richard's soundclips of the before and after GTA muffler install. I might add that the X-Pipe makes them sound even better IMHO

I'll be installing my "used" GTA's this week end....picked up a pair @ The Pomona Swap meet for $70.00....came off a wrecked Hertz Shelby with under 1500 miles. Perfect condition (also got a rear anti-sway bar for $20.00)
If anyone has an "update" on the install or other issues please post.
Thanks

ryan1112, I've had flat black exhaust paint on the backs of my FRPP GTA's for about three months now with no problems. I painted my OEM muffler backs the same way and had them on for over a year with no peel or chip off of the paint.
Thanks, I've had my GTAs for a while now and they have a little surface rust. I'm thinking of taking the rust off with some steel wool and painting them or having them armor coated.
By the way, the GTAs sound great with a Bassani x-pipe and comp cats. If we ever get warm weather again I will post a video.
