Here is my report:
Went to a buddy's house as he has a lift. Total time 2.5 hours.
Still don't have the left side set just right (it hits the top cutout of the fascia) even working the mid pipe clamp. I did paint the ends black.
Car seems quieter at idle and when off the gas. Louder pulling 3000 to 5000.
Car seems to pull not as strong from the start. Throttle response not as good.
Brief audio clip after!

Overall to early to tell if I like it. Keeping stock ones on shelf for now.
Let me know if the video doesn't work!

The GTA's have less restriction than Factory cans you took off!......Did you get rid of the worthless alignment pin's on the over axle pipe! if not, file them off ! that will help with adjustments!! also looks like your hangers on the pasenger-side need adjusted!.....also did you try adjusting from the mid-pipe ?
Just finished bolting on the GTAs; super-easy install, especially after reading everybody's trials and tribulations! Sound is throaty but mellow. Of course, I haven't taken in out for a run yet. I want to see how it sounds @ WOT...
Your freakin' out take a deep breath!.......

Just ordered my GTAs from Ninosport tonight
This is where the real debate comes in... i also bought the X-Pipe. I'm not so sure i want to put it on. My local dealer got a GT500 in, and for the for the first time i got up front and personal with one. The X-Pipe on the 500 looks a lot different then the Ford Racing one i have. It looks to be a much better pipe. It looks like there is a lot more flow then the one i have. I wonder if that one will fit our cars?
The X-Pipe from the GT500 will not fit the GT. The FRPP X-Pipe works great however, and it must since that is what is on the Shelby GT and GT-H. While the gains may be slight (Shelby and Ford estimate that the GTA's and X-Pipe are worth about 5hp) you certainly won't lose anything by adding them, and it makes the GTA's sound even better. Anybody who thinks that they lose something or they sound quieter by adding them is IMHO just in their head as it goes against the logic of better flow=more power.
Do you have any pics of your car with the Powered By Ford badges? Also where did you get them and how do they mount?
Not hard to put on but it does require cutting. I talk about the details somewhere in this thread, and also do a search and you will find where many on here have done the install.
They come with pins that I hacked off then used 3M double sided tape to stick on where the factory GT badges were.
Thanks.

Is the FRPP X-pipe very hard to put on?
