Did you get them installed yet? If so how do you like them?

Mufflers will be here on Thursday so I am anxiously waiting to see how this whole setup is going to sound. I will give you you folks my impression after the install is completed.

Thanks again to Graig for his research and starting the thread.

it would be cool if you could do a before and after sound bites for us in one vid. I know we have all heard the before but not in the same vid as the after.

Don't know if this thread is dead or not but

I got the Supreme Performance mufflers in last night and was in a hurry to have them installed so I had a good muffler man put them on today. They are alittle louder than stock but not much. Posted afew pictures of the Ford Racing X Pipe and the new mufflers. I painted the back section black on my stock mufflers and did the same with these. High temp flat black. It helps to hide the mufflers somewhat.

I started the car with the mufflers off and it was pretty darn loud. It would have been fun to drive around today without them but I didn't. I guess that's what the loudmouths sound like?

So, the question is, now that you've had the Borlas and the Shelby GT exhaust, along with the stocker of course, what do you recommend?

Stock, Borla, Shelby GT exhaust, or ???

Thanks!

Loved the Borla's sound but were just too loud for me. I think that the FRPP X Pipe and the Supreme mufflers is perfect for anyone who wants a nice louder than stock but mellow tone.

I'm happy with what I have now!

Rich, I am glad to hear that you like them as well. Your assesment of them sounds just like mine.

semperfi65,
Did you ever get to try the mufflers with the stock H-pipe?
My mufflers will be here Wednesday,so I guess I'll find out.I'm just curious if there is much difference using the H-pipe vs. the X-pipe.Have read in many posts that the H-pipe actually gives you a slightly 'deeper' tone.I'll also post after I get mine on Wed. evening.

I have them installed with the stock H pipe and love them. I wasn't looking to make the car much louder - but found the stock exhaust lacking at idle. I got what I was looking for. My wife described it as being more 'warbley'.

Are you all buying the supreme performance model that is the exact match or are you buying the ford version, nino sports says they are expected in on the 9th, so they are listed as pre order, just wondering how you all got them so quickly. Thanks for any info.

They are the exact same model that FRPP is selling but shipped directly from Supreme.
