Yeah, I knew that's what you were going for, I just wanted to make it clear for general situations. This one will probably be right for a compound.

Dangerous subject to tackle - over twice as aggressive as heavy polishing. What do you want to know?

Ok how do you get the smell of vinegar (broken jar of pickles - don't ask) out of my carpet behind the drivers seat? I don't have floor mats back there so it is just thin carpeting. I've tried Febreze and some carpet cleaner to no avail!

Wetsanding is a pretty invasive process, and can often do more harm than good. How minor is the scratch, and what have you done to try to remove it so far? Any pics?

I don't like claying after wash before dry/during wash. I prefer to finish the wash and dry entirely, then clay with spray lube all its own, then paint correct.

Just bought a 2012 V6 Premium (silver w/black racing stripes). I was wondering if I could use a car wash and wax (Armorall) on the stripes without ruining them. Also, if anyone has advice for how to take care of the stripes, that'd be amazing. I'm working with my first new car here, and really want to take care of it so I can one day pass it down to my kids. Thanks everyone.
