Thanks Daryl.

I'll be e-mailing DG about the louvers this morning. The color match is around 90+% accurate, it just appears to be just a shade darker. No one will notice from a glance, but if you were to compare the color match, it would be noticable.

If they'll accept an exchange, I'll have to ask my good buddy Leo if he can exchange them for me since they're local. Of course, I'll have him bring along the MWAG strut cover for paint match comparison since theirs (MWAG) is spot on. Leo? Buddy??

Actually Bill, unless it is the lighting, I see what you mean in the profile picture. Definitely a darker shade.

They are at a different angle than the body right next to them, so they will always look a shade off. As the sun hits different parts of my car I must have 100 different shades of white from pure white to dark gray.

Just look at my avatar - nothing matches, but it's just the sun hitting it and the shading.

Do me a favor and take a look at my louver album and tell me if it's off. I have shots from all angles for comparision.

Am I just seeing things?

After looking at some of the photos in there Bill, I am inclined to agree with Tom. The only time they really look off is when you are at a distance and from the profile angle. When up close or resting on your hood they look **** near perfect.

Thanks for the chop, but I just can't talk myself into getting any text, no matter what the message.

Again, this is my opinion about my car, not on others. For instance, on your car, the full length rocker stripe and text doesn't look out of place... just looks funny on mines.

Looks kind of off from the pics I've seen but then again could be what Tom is talking about. Either way if you still want to exchange them I'll be more than happy to.

Thinking about ordering an SHR fuel door and wanted some opinions. I talked to Marcello today and found out it would cost an extra $50 if I wanted a custom one with out the screws in the outer ring. So now that I know it's possible my only hold up is I can't decide between the "GT" or blank look. Forgot to mention but I'm planning on the black anodized.

Okay then, I think I may need my eyes checked.

I'll hold off on persuing a replacement set, who knows, the replacements may actually be a shade off and I'll kick myself in the butt for trading in the good ones!

EDIT: I started a new thread here, let's see what other feedback I get from these 2 mods.

SHR fuel door: I like the fake screws, 'GT' logo, and in black anodized. By going screwless, logoless, it'll look too plain.

I agree with Bill.

I talked to Marcello yesterday (in person) about getting a fuel door that would be painted Performance White with a clear coat. It would match the car and not stick out, but would be better than the regular fuel door. Then I would put black vinyl in the "GT".

Daryl any chance you can put this stripe on my car??? Special requests...
Color-Matte black
Placement- Same location as your rocker stripe.
Get rid of GT/CS text and make the begining of the stripe a straight edge instead of the angled way it is in the pic.
