Ok, well it felt like Christmas today, because I got lots of car stuff.

I got my GT500 chin spoiler today, and I also got my custom dash plaque.

And Bill, my dash plaque was feeling jealous of the license plate, so I decided to black out the VIN on my dash plaque as well I wonder if it would look goofy if I kept the plaque like that on the car

Leo - Happy Birthday! or Anniversary! Pics look great. I'm going to have to get a new camera one of these, too, I guess!

I think, if anyplace, put the Powered by Ford emblem in the engine bay somewhere.

Mike - why cover up the VIN? Ours are all in our sig - on the window sticker.

Video (of cop lights) and pics (of taillight bezels and black/chrome frame) coming up shortly!

Half joke against TacoBill, Half paranoid.

Haven't you seen "The Net" . If you haven't I recommend it. The movie wasn't great, but you do get to see Sandra Bullock the entire movie

Looks pretty good, and I like how it brings out the faux gas cap to complement each other

Now, my 2 cents: the gloss black spoiler and the shiny chrome bezels seem to "fight" each other. I know you were considering a flat black spoiler, and that may the answer.

Just my opinion...take it for whatever it's worth

+1 I do like how well they blend into the car. The seemed to stick out too much on the VB photo that Bill posted but on the white car it's really nice.

Thanks. Tom I vote for the chrome frame.

Emblem-OK well let me narrow down the choices for placement.
1)Fusebox Horizontally or Vertically?
2)No Emblem

Shaker ducting- So after seeing better pics what's everyone's take on it.
1)Back on
2)Leave it off

Next mod-Can't decide so I need a little help. I can only get one.
1)GMS swaybar delete
2)GranddesignMat Pony mat or CDC detail corral
3)MGW coat hangers/seat lever buckles/Scott Drake Sill stripes

These all look good, the 3rd would be my favorite. I don't like it on the dash at all.
I like the look of no ducting after seeing it again.

And BTW: Happy 1st anniversary to you and your car!

Looks sweet, Leo! For a 'Point & Shoot, it's hard to beat the Canon SD Series! (SD550 here )

If you haven't customized your settings yet, go to 'FUNC. SET' (that's the center button), then adjust the resolution to 'Superfine' and the size to M2 or M3 (no need to go bigger). In Superfine, your pics will look even better!

I'm with Tom, if anywhere, in the engine bay. Exactly where, I don't know yet.

And finally here's the minor rubbing problem I'm having with the tower covers.
I can't believe it's riding again. See any rub marks off the hood at those locations? Can't really see where the marks are on the Passenger side cover, but guessing it's at the same location.

Here's some way better pics of the shaker w/o ducting.
If I may...
Loosen the clamp and remove the conical filter. Flip the clamp around so the orientation matches the 2 clamps adjacent to it. Also, orientate the filter so the element seam is at the bottom.

You'll thank me at the Knott's show.

Goofy? Umm.. yes.
Only info missing off that plaque is 1 of XX,XXX. Looks pretty cool though! Link to where you got it?

I like the chrome frame, Tom! No particular reason, just looks nice to me.

Honestly, I didn't want to get the 1 out of XX because that's not something the factory would have done (unless they knew beforehand how many they were going to produce). I wanted to keep it as factory as possible, which is also why I didn't put my name on it either.

Here is the link from my other thread (post 15 has the specific site, but the other posts have information about price, comments, etc): http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=59802

Thanks, I think they complement each other, too.

Never noticed that. The only way I will have the spoiler flat black is if I can clear it with the flat clear so I'll be able to wax/Zaino it. I'm not in any rush, I think the gloss spoiler looks good, it's just not 100% correct for a Mach 1.

tom-chrome license frame(I don't like plastic covers on license plates though
I think just the opposite about the plastic cover. The clear cover cleans up an otherwise very unattractive part of the car (the plate). It makes it appear glossy.

+1 I do like how well they blend into the car. The seemed to stick out too much on the VB photo that Bill posted but on the white car it's really nice.
I think the same thing, too - that they stick out way too much on darker cars, but fit nicely on the white.

Tom I vote for the chrome frame.
Not too much chrome?

Looks good Tom, I like it with the chrome.
Thanks. I was leaning toward black. I thought the chrome frame actually took away from the taillight bezels.

I like the chrome frame, Tom! No particular reason, just looks nice to me.
It does look nice, but still leaning toward black.

Wherever, as long as you buy it from me!
j/k.. How about here? Attachment 20557
If not, then the fuse cover, horizontally.

#2, but don't forget to paint that bolt head in the bath tub.

Thanks for reminding me about the MGW stuff.
With that said, I vote #3 (w/o the sill stripes) and #2 (just don't know which one).

Thanks. I agree the pics looked awesome on my panny.

Yup those are the settings I have it set to. The garage pics sucked because I took them with the door down and the lighting in there sucks.

And finally here's the minor rubbing problem I'm having with the tower covers.

I can't believe it's riding again. See any rub marks off the hood at those locations? Can't really see where the marks are on the Passenger side cover, but guessing it's at the same location.

Don't see any rub marks on the hood. The drives side cover is fine it's only the passenger side for some reason.

It was like that before yesterdays engine/car cleaning. Storytime-
Yesterday I decided to clean the engine bay so I placed plastic bags around the air filter, battery and alternator. In the middle of it I stopped to roll the drivers side window up because I didn't want water getting in. Well instead of just turning the key to acc I started the car.
Doing that cause the filter to gave in. Mind you I only started the car for less than 10secs. So after removing the airfilter and pushing it back into place as best I could it's still far from perfect. So my remedy untill I buy a new one was to hide ugliest part.
