Not one has commented I should drink less... so I take that as permission!

I have never ever seen nor heard of pan fried potatoes with red and green bell peppers.

Nor I. I think all the Bavarians around here ran the Irish off.

Interesting. I even add saute'd onions and green peppers to hash browns for breakfast.

I'm not a big breakfast potato fan. I usually give them to my wife if it's at a restaurant and take her bacon. Lol

I do love potatoes the rest of the time but for some reason I wasn't raised on them for breakfast so I don't eat them for breakfast.

I try to like hash browns, but I've never been a potato chip fan and they taste a little too much like potato chips to me. I do like chorrizo con papas tacos though.

I love hash browns at Waffle House, but I hardly ever make them at home. They just don't turn out the same. And I don't eat them for breakfast, but with breakfast food for lunch or supper. Never did really have potatoes for breakfast growing up that I can remember.

And I've never seen the fried potatoes with the peppers and stuff. My granny used to make just plain old fried potatoes a lot, cut up in chunks, salt and pepper, and fried in lard in an iron skillet.

sounds delicious. I'll roast them a lot at home. A good tip I heard was to fry them just a little before putting them in the oven. Helps to give a crispy skin and soft center.

I put ketchup on mine usually. But sometimes I get them with cheese and chili at Waffle House instead of using ketchup.
