You are just mean ... I was told by two different friends (one use to be a cook) that cooking a turkey is very hard and I shouldn't try because ill be disappointed.

It's not hard it's just time consuming and the hardest part is the dressing because of all the prep work. But still when you sit down to eat it the juice is worth the squeeze.

The hardest part of cooking a turkey is the torture of that delicious smell of that turkey cooking for hours before you can actually sit down and eat it Other than that, it's really easy. You should try it sometime.

In fact the one I got on sale (.68/#!) is almost 24#! and won't fit in the freezer. So thanksgiving at the ranch is on Saturday the 16th this year.

I don't know, but it seems that a large percentage of restaurants that I've been to that I thought was outstanding ends up being owned by a Greek family. All over the country I've experienced that, regardless of the type of restaurant.
