Wrong. It'll have pintos, don't care too much for kidney beans in it like most people use.

I like kidneys. But this time I used some chili beans. It and its sauce gave me a bit smoother texture.

Slab of St. Louis pork ribs in honor of the Cardinals win. Grilled with hickory chips then thrown in the crock pot for 5 hours while I drink whisky and watch dvr football.
Also cut up a beef loin into 12-1 1/4" Kansas City strips for the freezer and made a steak sandwich while the charcoal was fired.

My biggest problem with the kidney beans is that they are always too firm unless you cook the hell out of them, and they're just a little too big for my taste. What's different about chili beans? I always thought they were just pintos that were seasoned.

They could be. These had sort of a pasty sauce to make the whole thing really smooth.

Do you bread the zucchini when served with linguine? Or just sauteed (butter and garlic?)? Do you add a cream sauce or marinara?

I never really know what to do with zucchini.

I just saute the zucchini in some extra virgin olive oil and cook it up a bit.
Then, I just serve with some linguine or spaghetti and sprinkle some Parmesan on top. Ok,....a lot of Parmesan on top. lol I also use a little of that olive oil left over in the pan over it all.
I like the idea of breading the zucchini as well. Good idea.

Fixed tacos last night.

Had the ol' lady pick up Zaxby's tonight, didn't feel like cooking after today.
