Midwest TMS'ers General Communication Thread

Hey Midwesterns,
You have probably heard that to stimulate the economy we may all get some kind of tax rebate. I have heard numbers of up too 800-1000 bucks. So the question is what mod would you buy for your pony with this money if it really shows up?
I want to buy that perfect set of mufflers. You know the ones with the perfect sound and no drone. Once I find them that's what I would buy. How about you guys?

Your're up early. Although I could use the $800-1000 in my opinion a better stimulus would be for George W. to do us all a favor and resign immediately! Just my opinion.

Not much gets by you .....does it!!!! I think you nailed it. He wants the gut twisting torque of a Saleen TS.

I think he is going for the stage 4 with a 2.8 pulley and the new Crank pulley from Brenspeed...... should give him about 600 rwhp and 30 seconds on the engine

At least he only has one year left. On a different note, are you a Indians or Reds fan, or neither?

I kind of follow the Reds. I lost a lot of interest in football and baseball back when the strikes were on. They do not get any money from me anymore. I do follow Nascar pretty close but love anything related to cars. Like Barrett-Jackson auction today and tommorow. I won't be far from the TV this weekend. Remember the Monkey Mobil? The original is going up for sale later today. And YES I watched "The Monkeys" as a kid.

I was hoping that you'd say you were an Indians fan so I could tell you how bad the Tigers were going to beat up on them this year. I'm a car fanatic, especially classic cars.

Look out Robert. Darrell has swung his gun to the northeast in your direction. Maybe that means the rest of us are going to get a break for a while.

Good Morning Midwesterners,
I need some info for a write-up that I'm working on and hope you can help me. What is the maximum rpms that you take your engine in each gear especially 4th & 5th gear, whether you have an automatic or manual trans. I'd appreciate your help.

Morning Robert,
My automatic shifts gears at WOT @ 5800 rpm. But I have never had it going that fast since I believe that in 4th that will take to to like 125 mph. And 5th would be over 150mph.
