Same to You Tom...Same to You
Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day and Weekend. Holiday weekends always seem to fly by!
I was able to finally get my calipers painted though, so that was good. My next two projects are to get the decals on the calipers and install my Agent 47 lower grille. Of course, I'd like to either buy or make the brake ducts before installing the grille.

Well, the weather runined my plans to go to a friend's house for a barbecue, but at least I wasn't the only one that had ruined plans. The President was here in the Chicago area and his speech got canned due to the rain and strong wind.

Hi Tom.....and everyone else.
Well, we were back to nice weather here in Michigan. Got the Stang out for a nice drive tonight. Still need to get a nice wash and possibly another wax though. I'm definitely diggin' the new painted calipers. It's a pretty nice mod for a mere $40. I did run my CDC into a parking block though. Hard to tell if there was any damage, since the chin is still speckled with bug guts from my drive home last night.

Naaaaa I went to the Redneck, Hillbilly, Tatoo, Drunk, Mullet cut Mud Blog Sunday. Well at least till I couldn't take it any more (3 hrs). Watched 3 classes out of 9. The only truck that made it all the way was a Geo Tracker with a V-8. I got video but it would burn your eyes out of your head.
On 2 weeks of vacation now. Finally found the squeal in the front of my engine. I replaced almost every bearing in all the idler pulleys. Rebuilt the alternator with new bearings. Realined the pulleys. Finally I traded belts. Put a Goodyear Gatorback belt on and took the Gates off. No more noise. It was the belt. Working on the yard between rain showers too. Going to South Haven, Michigan Sat. for a Car Show.

I'm heading east this weekend for a job interview. Sounds promising so far although I'm not crazy about a potential relo. I've gotten more projects done in the past month than I have in the past 5 years. Installed new garage door openers, all new landscaping out front, stripped/sanded/stained/sealed all of the kitchen cabinets, installed three ceiling fans in the house, etc. etc. etc.
Oh and after installing the last door opener a few weeks ago, I jumped into the Mach to pull it into the garage and forgot that I had a Phillips screwdriver in my back pocket. Yep- poked a hole into the butt portion of the seat. I almost threw up on myself. It's about the size of the fingernail on your pinkie finger.

Ouch Tom, Did something like in my 97 F150 I had a few years ago.
I went to the Dyno Day, drove the new car up there and hauled back a trunk load of parts for my buddy that rode up with me.

Why don't you try Texas? Blue Bell runs a good ice cream outfit.
