I know for sure the bus has been on the road quite a bit in the one month, we have been short on buses almost every day for the entire school year, dispatch has been going crazy trying to get all the routes and trips covered. The old buses are just falling apart.
It's still not completely over, I have the union helping me, might be able to at least get my name cleared and then promptly quit if re-instated if I have gotten another job by the time I get things worked out. Un-employment is not an option, I have a mortgage and a car payment to pay, need to keep the money coming in.

Well, I hope the union kicks their behind, that aint right! I think you were a scapegoat. We have had wheels come loose, but that usually was within a mile or 2 of the shop!
Hell, I even left one of my own loose, I got half way out of the bay and I knew something wasn't right.
Not encouraging it, but unemployment does pay 80% of your wages. More if you have a kid. When I got laid off 9 years ago, we just had my son, so I took the time to stay with him, it was great! Then delivered pizza's a few nights a week. I was making more money not working! lol.

I'm not in any position to lose 20% of my wages though, I was a bit tight for money as it was. The only way I did mods to the car was when I got my big tax refund. I need more money than First Student was paying me anyway.
I've heard a few rumors that they were just looking to get rid of someone, used this as an excuse. I've also heard rumors that it was retaliation against this location for actions of other employees. I don't have any proof of those rumors though. The whole situation just plain sucks, and I hope the union will at least be able to clear my name so that I can just voluntarily quit.

Wow Justin,
Even if you did leave the wheel loose (by accident) I don't see that was a firing offense. No one was injuried. No accident. I can see you being reprimanded and warned but not fired. That just plain wrong. Really want to see this work out for you!!

Hello Mister Tom.
All is interesting. I don't know if all is well, because all confuses me at the moment, but all is interesting for me.
Any luck for you? Have you done any employment searching yet?

Step Father's Cancer has gone to his Brain (about 3-6 months to live) we are not that close.
Mother in law going in for 2 more stents to clear up some major blockage
The alternator I got from Tom had a bearing go out
Won best in class last week at a Car show (Mustangs 1994 and up)
Hoping everybody is doing OK

No there is at least one loser still here. ME I guess. Would you like to hear what time I shower, brush my teeth and poop everyday? Not sure where the others are. I will talk with you. How is things in your world? Tonight we are under a Tornado watch for the next 4-5 hours but nothing around here yet. Just working on a new deck over our pond and keeping an eye to the sky I guess here.

I had a dream there was a tornado last night. Was big and black, and I was running around trying to find my cat.
