Well since the sun was out today and we are not really church going types we went out this afternoon for a couple of hours to pick up sticks and clean up some of the winter mess. I felt good to get out of the house for a little while even if it was only 40 degrees today. Going out to cook some burgers and brats on the grill before it gets dark. When I went to work yesterday morning at 5:30 am I heard the robins singing like it was May 15th. Spring is not far away guys. I actual saw 2 people with there tops down on Friday on the way home from work and it was only 48 degrees. That's pushing it a bit for me. But watch out when it hit 60!!
Scott

I put on around 250 miles on the car between Friday and today.... feels good driving. I got the charger on my '92 vert too, in anticipation of spring.

Hey! 70MACH1OWNER how are these working out for you ? I've been looking for your right up about them........You need to get these tested for me !....
MSD Ford Coil-on-Plug, 05-07 ,4.6L SOHC, set of eight (PN 82438)

Improved spark energy and voltage output
Patented winding design and materials
Direct bolt-in to factory connectors
There’s no denying the performance and popularity of the late model Ford Mustang. For owners looking to improve their Ford’s performance on the street or strip, MSD offers a variety of ignition upgrades to fire up your Mod Motor.
The improved spark energy and voltage of MSD’s Blaster 2 Coils, combined with reliability, have made them a favorite for performance enthusiasts. Whether firing a restored BOSS 429 or a Saturday night circle tracker, the Blaster 2 has always gotten the job done. MSD is excited to offer Blaster coils for late model Ford engines with Coil-on-Plug technology!
The new Blaster CoPs are designed as a direct bolt-in replacement coil for many SOHC Modular Motors. The housing and installation are the same as the factory, but that’s where the similarity ends. Inside the MSD red housing, engineers spec’d better material to assemble the primary and secondary windings. There is also patented dual magnet technology to step up the output.Together, this combines a coil that produces higher voltage and spark energy! The Coil-on-Plug design of the Blaster CoPs puts the spark energy right out of the coil and across the plug gap to improve the combustion and output of the engine.
The Blaster 2 CoPs are available individually or as a complete set of eight.

I am still on the fence about whether these coils will be any advantage on a N/A car. They are pretty but you couldn't see them with my shaker cover anyway. Just buy a set and throw them in the pile you have on your garage floor. You'll get around to the install soon or later. Supposed to be 46 and sunny today. The stang is coming out. Morning all...back to work.

The EBC Sport rotors I brought came black coated so the slots and pimples were already black. My Hawk pads took off the black on the braking surface. Couldn't be happlier

Glad I read the whole Rotopro thread. Was thinking why paint rotor when the pads are just gonna sand it off.

Ben- yes, only painting the rotors so that the drilled holes and slots don't show rust on occasion.
