No kidding. If we had to keep our conversations strictly about Mustangs we wouldn't have that much to talk about now would we? Well okay there is always Tom's boat to yak about.

cold winter comming

It's late fall and the Indians on a remote reservation in South Dakota

asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild.

Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the

old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the winter was

going to be like.

Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter

was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should

collect firewood to be prepared.

But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He

went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, 'Is

the coming winter going to be cold?'

'It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,' the meteorologist

at the weather service responded.

So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more

firewood in order to be prepared.

A week later, he called the National Weather Service again. 'Does it

still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?'

'Yes,' the man at National Weather Service again replied, 'it's going to

be a very cold winter.' </span>

The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every

scrap of firewood they could find.

Two weeks later, the chief called the National Weather Service again.

'Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?'

'Absolutely,' the man replied. 'It's looking more and more like it is

going to be one of the coldest winters we've ever seen.'

'How can you be so sure?' the chief asked.

The weatherman replied,'The Indians are collecting a ****load of firewood'

Hey don't get me wrong. I miss the 70 Mach 1 but the 11' Explorer is the best vehicle we have ever owned. The only thing I have any issue with is the Ford Sync. It is no were as good as GM's Onstar. But I guess that's why Ford is making new software upgrades monthly. I really missed the 70 this week when I was watching Barrett Jackson !!!!

Glen, thanks for the joke!

Scott, really the on star is that much better huh? I'm not doubting you I just find that interesting because most people rave about sync but maybe they've never had on star lol.

Gary, if you buy another mustang I'mma puke.

You had first shot old man. Did you see it at Barrett Jackson last week? I was going to sell it to you for $36K but it went for $54K last week.

Let me clarify....I guess the basic Ford Sync is okay but the navigation part is not very user friendly. My Garmin is way better in my opinion. When you are typing in an address it is way to intuitive and won't let you finish where you are going and you can't get back to the start. And the voice command needs improved or Karen need's to stop talking with the lisp.
