flat tires are because the car sat for a while. as for those manifolds, they are the only ones that fit lol. which brings me to fitment...

normally, if you get II specific motor mounts and all that you can bolt it in. there are exhaust issues, and you will find a lot of people use factory II manifolds. there are some headers out there, but they are all long tubes.

in any case i have a custom mount system. the guys at this shop a few years back welded in what i believe are fox motor mounts to the stock II crossmember, so my motor sits higher up than on other V8 IIs. because its all a bit wonky, my exhaust choices are even more limited.

and all i want at thsi point is for the car to run :P

Just got a phone call. The new bakes are on the front. in the rear they swapped out the axles with some 5 lug oens from a 60s stang and got a hold of bigger, later ford ranger drums, so theres beefier braking there too. exhaust is in, and they even found me some wheels. apparently they're the black steel wheels with the 10 holes and the red pinstripe from summitt. not fancy but they get the job done imo.

other than that the car still just needs fuel lines. they said theyre going to try and start it tomorrow.

i havent seen it yet, but my dad snapped some picures for me. he said he'd email em to me and i'll post em as soon as i get em

No, I'm ticked because when I said that I liked them enough to put them on the old white one, you said "ew." And now, you are strutting them around like they are saving your life or something... -_-

my dislike was because you wanted 17" ones that would have weighed a ton. they're still steel wheels. someday these four will be replaced with lighter and better wheels too lol

besides. 5 LUGS!

We went over this, they weigh 2 lbs more... Not a big deal. Probably the same weight increase as when I put on the Cobra brakes, but you weren't complaining then, were you?
