Didn't they belong to Tommy on here? I forget. Awesome catch. When I sell mine, it will be for 700 since they're better than new hahahahaha wait I'll never sell mine so never mind.

He had the stainless portion where the pipe leading to the tips painted in black. I took the black paint off and cleaned the whole muffler.

I finally lowered her! 99% all by myself. My friends flaked on me, so my lovely fiancée jumped in and held the spindles in place while I got the bolts into the lower struts.
As I was pulling out the driver's side mount, it fell and came apart on the ground, with the little bearings going everywhere. She also helped me pick them up one by one with tweezers lol.
Anyways, here's a couple filthy auto zone pics. I rented spring compressors, though I didn't need them, thanks to Late Model Resto's install video!
Setup is Steeda Boss 302 springs, Koni Yellows, J&M PHB and I have J&M LCAs going on too. I'll probably do them tomorrow. Tuesday it goes for an alignment and first oil change. My buddy is a SA at a Ford dealer, so we should get all that done pretty quick
Oh yeah, I had to take the front spacers off. I went to torque the wheels after everything was done, and snapped two of the studs! I couldn't believe it. The wheel must not have been on all the way. I'm rocking some purple lug nuts that I got from one of the other Patrick's on here I was going to put them on my Escape for my fiancée, but hadn't gotten around to it. As I was putting the purple ones on, I realized he also gave me a whole set of extra chrome ones... I'll just wait til Tuesday to swap those back on. I'll have the tech do it for me real quick while it's on the lift.

So how much drop with the Boss springs? That looks pretty good...I've been wanting mine a bit lower but most aftermarket options are 1"+.
I also just got a GT grille and some fog lights in from another member here. Just need to buy the wiring for it all, hoping I can get it all in next week.

I didn't want to slam the car. I just wanted to get rid of the rear wheel gap. The Steeda Boss springs are in between their Sport and Competitions for drop and spring rate. I started with the Koni's on full soft, which was too soft, so, I am trying out 1 full turn towards firm now. I don't want to push it too hard until I get it aligned, but it still rides good and has that sharp turn in. I ordered the FRPP bumpstops, so hopefully they come Monday so I can put them on before the alignment. I need to make a slight adjustment to the PHB too. I literally eye balled it .25" shorter than the stock bar, and I almost nailed it haha. Probably 1/8" to the driver's side. Easy peasy.

Oh yeah, I still have 1" spacers in the rear. I'll probably pick up another set for the front. I miss the aggressive look. Here it is at stock ride height with the spacers front and rear.
