A Man Just Needs Some....
I just recently purchased the Ecobee thermostat system and installed it in my house. It has separate sensors that you can put in any room of your choice. My bedroom used to go from freezing to hot as hell just because of where the thermostat is located. No problems whatsoever now in any room I want to control and the A/C runs half the time now. You should check into this Lee. You can set it up to just the occupied rooms or one specific room. I should have bought this years ago.

I know what you're saying though. I do notice a difference between the day and night and I partially close the vent in the room where I sleep in the winter because I can't breathe and I can't stand the heat . The room where my thermostat is has a picture window with a seating area built into it that sets out about 36" deep outside that is about 140" x 80" and it faces due south so the sun beams into that room at all times of the year, so even with blinds a lot of heat comes in there so I think that room warms more where the thermostat is. But I don't see any difference in temps from room to room in the rest of the house.
Maybe I'm just crazy or going through "manopause".

Don't know what's going on around this house. Since the boy turned 13 we've been going though an inordinate amount of boxes of Kleenex tissues and toilet paper. Not to mention that his mom has found on multiple occasions socks in the laundry that were stiff enough to stand up by themselves. I told her to just touch those at a distance and not say anything to him, maybe even put on gloves and a hazmat suit when collecting his laundry (she didn't even get it, why I was saying that, lol)
Not to mention that our power bill has skyrocketed from the water heater since he takes multiple showers a day, long showers, lol. And she actually thinks he is just trying to be "more clean" now that he is a teen, lol. Yeah, I guess that is why he locks himself in his room for 5 minutes at a time, multiple times a day.
When he comes out I just give him "the look". You know that look, that look that says "I know what you just did, you know what you just did, but neither one of us is going to mention anything" You know that look, that one that is accompanied by a nervous grin, then he pops off to mom like nothing ever happened and says "when is supper?", lol.
