I must admit I'm pretty short on Christmas spirit myself. It used to mean a whole lot, and I wish I could find it again, but that's something that can't be forced. I feel guilty that I don't feel guilty sometimes.

Same. It was such a magical time when I was a kid. I'd like to pass that down to Liam, and his brother coming soon, but with today's world and the state of affairs, it's not going to be easy. Everyone is just rushing around just to get the holidays over with. At least around here, no one gets to actually ENJOY the time anymore. It's just a chore now...
Even when I was married she and I just went through the motions and pretended for the benefit of others. But that's hypocritical in a way. I'm more comfortable dealing with reality than pretending otherwise.
Despite all that, for those that genuinely feel the spirit, here's wishing you a very happy and Merry Christmas in all sincerity.
