It's truly a shame that most of you will never experience cracklin. No it's not healthy but neither is cookies and cake. This is like fornicating.

Not really. Pork rinds are light and fluffy. It's kinda like comparing dark beer to sparkling water. Lol. Only thing I can say is that it is completely natural. Pig fat fried in pig fat. Pork rinds only use one thin layer of skin whereas cracklin has about 3-4 layers of fatty pig flesh. Its a beautiful thing and kinda makes you hate yourself a little after eating it.

I could never go without carbs. My intake is roughly 60% carbs - I love potatoes, pasta, rice. Even with carb intake, I did drop from 205 to 180 (6'2") just by adding some exercise to my routine and cutting out a lot afternoon sodas and candy bars.

My body doesn't like carbs, i gain too easy with them and cutting them out or at least drastically down makes a huge difference in my weight.

Also Lee, have you tried the Golden Flake Maple Bacon pork skins??? OMG

Those sound disgusting, lol. I'll stick with my local favorite, Bergers cookies!

As much as I love pork, I never did care much for cracklin's, love pork skins though. People around here used to make them a lot when I was young. They'd butcher a hog and then build a hot **** fire with a giant cast iron pot over it full of oil to cook the cracklin's. I didn't like that cool greasy feel they left in your mouth when you bit into them. Nobody really makes them anymore, haven't seen anyone making them fresh in years.

Probably because everyone that made them and ate them are now dead from a heart attack.

Haven't seen them. But I've cut down so much on snack foods (and anything with high sodium) that I never really look anymore. I traded pig skins for broccoli and apples with natural peanut butter.

All joking aside, I really don't want to be as skinny as I was back in the early 90's when I was, well you know, I'm doing the diet and exercise now and trying to get down that low to see if I can avoid having to take blood pressure medicine. Thought if I could drop enough weight, get in better shape, eat better foods, I wouldn't have to take any kind of pills. I really don't want to take anything.

Chris Kyle, baddest **** to serve in a long time. Jesse Ventura should have his nuts cut off and stuffed in his mouth. What in the hell was the state of Minnesota thinking when they elected that moron. But they also have elected Al Franken over and over and keep loving him, so I guess that explains the mindset of that state.

Jesse Ventura was at the mall of America today for a book signing. Missed him by about an hour. Really didn't want to be there at the same time.
