I actually added this stuff called Shudder Fix a couple of times (its a little tube of stuff, like a friction modifier) and it helped for a little while but it comes back.
Isn't that stuff just Preparation H with a different label?
Tried to start up the explorer after I got back this evening and she wouldn't go. Tried jump starting her and still wouldn't go. Ended up having to buy a new battery. Took it for a short drive and no flashing o/d light. Shifted perfectly fine. I have no idea what its problem is.
I didn't give in. I sure as hell wanted one bad though, lol.

Nathan it must be the holiday weekend for weird car problems. I drove our Mach 1 on Sunday and got stranded an hour from home when i shut it off and it wouldn't restart- no crank, no fuel pump, nothing. I think it has a problem with the Pats system. Ending up having it towed to the nearest ford dealer. Thank goodness for AAA free towing lol.

If you get a chance, post a couple pics of your neg batt cable and where all it goes there at the top. Had an ordeal with mine a few times over the last few years.

Mine only came with a quick reference guide (like a condensed version of an owners manual) that just hits main things that says Users Guide, a little flip quick book about the Uconnect, and a DVD that is the full manual for the car and the Uconnect.
