I had Comcast. Their service sucked more than all of the vacuum cleaner companies combined. I had on demand, which would quit halfway through a movie. I would call, they would tell me they had nothing wrong on their end. I replaced the box, the same thing happened. I was still getting billed for movies I couldn't watch; every month I would have to dispute the bill, which they did take care of (the only thing they did right!)
When it was time to renew my cable service, I went with Verizon Fios. I had one minor issue during a power outage that exceeded
battery backup capacity, a phone call with a technician and his expertise had me up and running within 10 minutes.
I know Comcast's on demand service is sensitive to certain signal interference ( if there is ingress near by, it will cause issues until fixed). Having worked with a couple MSOs, I have seen the most issues with their On Demand service
Haven't worked with Fios, or any other Fiber Optic service provider, so I have not experience with them, I have run fiber mainline but no residential stuff.

They did a lot of great stuff. Terrible part is most people only know "Been caught steeling" which I think was a low point in their career. Saw them once way back in concert. Those guys rocked!

Man shot by hunter while hauling away dead deer in Hudson Valley woods
The man was taking away the dead animal he had shot. A second hunter saw the deer moving and thought it was alive, so he opened fire, hitting the first hunter in the hand and buttocks, police in Dutchess County said. The man was treated at a hospital.
