Wears me out every time. Especially the raping, that's hard work when you don't have enough equipment to do the job.

Is the garage attached to the house? If it is, open the door from the house to the garage, crank the heat and through natural convection the garage will warm up to the point where you can work in it.

I think my parents would kill me. Lol The heating in our house sucks as it is. Besides, we need new garage doors. They're not sealed very well anymore and the cold air just pours in.

Lee, since I know you like all things pecans, I found a couple of different ones if you are interested in the recipes. I think I'm going to try Miss Kay's Honey Pecan Pie recipe this year.

Here is one with coconut

And a southern one

Those look good. Chocolate and pecan are the only 2 kinds of pie I like. Problem is, I can't bake worth a ****. I never have been able to make a decent cake, pie, etc.

We're getting new carpet in a week or two. This house is a never ending work in progress.

**** carpet. I hate it, I made it for years when I was younger. I'll never have carpet in a house again, even in bedrooms. Its nothing but a ****ing dust/dirt trap that you can't get clean. Tile, wood, laminate, linoleum, etc. is the only I'll ever put in a house from now on.

I have a linoleum wood floor in my room. It freaking sucks. Gets way too cold in the winter. So unless you want to pay for heated floors, carpet it is.
