Just had the best "apple pie" I've ever drank. And it came from down here, not home. Literally tasted like apple pie. Only had about a quart.

Sounds great. You must be finally in Bama. Tractor seat chairs and that redneck flagship parked next to the fence. Looks like my kinda people.

A Lake County cave complex has been christened as one of the nation’s most important archaeological and historic sites.
The National Park Service has added the Paisley Five Mile Point Caves to the National Register of Historic Places, according to a news release.
The caves’ artifacts and organic remains, such as plant-fiber cordage and preserved feces, called coprolites, are some of the earliest artifacts in North America and provide clues to how humans inhabited and dispersed across the North American continent, Reynolds said.
Findings at Paisley predate by more than 1,000 years the appearance of southwest Clovis sites, which are characterized by distinctive projectile point artifacts. For many years, the Clovis have been widely accepted as the first humans to settle in the Americas.
Archaeological excavations and extensive laboratory analyses conducted by the UO team of students, who were led by Dr. Dennis Jenkins, concluded that more than 200 coprolites containing human DNA radiocarbon dated to pre-Clovis times. The discovery of 14,300-year-old human feces demonstrates the presence of an ancient human population in America’s Far West at the end of the last Ice Age, the release said.

No, this is the first time we ever sat on that side. They changed everything and there is no more parking pit side on the hill. Looks like someone has been farming the hill. So everyone has to come in on the other side of the track now Traffic was ridiculous too. They had the police directing traffic on E Maple Grove Road, so it was very slow getting there. They got started really late in the day because of the rain (like 1pm). Then some really dark clouds rolled up during the first round and the temp dropped like crazy. Last thing we wanted to do was get caught in the cold rain, so we just said forget it and went back to the camper. We never even made it over to the pit side....
