Haven't seen a grill version. I would imagine there's a time lag...
I have a pellet stove up in the loft. Wood or corn (in case you're in the midwest lol).
Plenty of heat, thermostat controlled if you want, easy to clean, efficient, don't have to lug firewood up stairs.
The only thing I don't like is you have to have it's fan running at all times to pressurize the combustion box. Vs a wood stove where you can watch the flame in silence.

I believe these also have a small fan. Electronic auger with a temperature control. Pretty much a lazy mans way grilling and smoking but supposed to be amazing results. Throw a brisket on and go flip it every couple hours. Sure beats babysitting a chunk of meat all night long.

the minor league baseball team is playing at home right now. Cheap games and tonight is dollar beer. Look up Birmingham barons . Eatery, everyone will tell you dream land for BBQ. The fish market is fantastic.

Where you at and all?

Oh and there's a great brewery across from the stadium. 5pts south is cool to just walk around.

If you get out, take some pics and post. Be neat to see someone else's take on things I see all the time.

My bro-in-law has an electric wood puck smoker. Uses pucks not pellets, same principle. He loves it. Lets meat smoke overnight, says he never has to check on it.

Wood pellet fireplaces are amazing. Fireplaces are great in general, but wood pellet fireplaces are just beautiful to watch!

Also I just realized today that Ford actually built the Rolls Royce engines that were used in the P-51 Mustang - that makes the P-51 theme even MORE awesome for a current Mustang!

Since you're gonna be here tonight, def check out the barons game. Cool area downtown as well. Parking is about 10$ at the paid spots, the light tunnels going under the rail road tracks are cool now. The stadium is fanstastic and its dollar beer. what else could ya want! Id say i'd meet ya, but i am leaving right after work and going to tuscaloosa, i'll be there for some fire dept training courses i am taking.
