I did see that one. Another big one was caught even further inland not long ago. Not that big but big enough. Wouldn't mind seeing more fresh grouper around here. That's a great eating fish right there.

Probably my favorite, along with red snapper. But I'm not that big of a fish eater except when I'm on the Gulf and can get it fresh.

I'm the same. Red snapper and grouper are both great if I can find it in a store and cook it myself. Restaurant grouper and snapper I haven't had much luck with. Most other fish I turn away from. Large mouth bass is fantastic fried up but you gotta catch it yourself. Catfish is everywhere here but I don't eat it unless I catch it. Too big or wrong type taste like crap.

I don't care much for freshwater fish, except for rainbow trout. Love it fried.

Are you in England or something? Down here we call them fries. Not chips.

Love some fresh saltwater fish. We have a place here called the fish market. They have their own boats in the gulf and ship stuff up daily. Fresh and amazing. Most done in a Greek style.

I can't eat fresh water fish. I'm actually allergic, including farm raised fish like tilapia. I tried a small piece of fried crappie this past weekend just to taste it thinijg that small of an amount wouldn't do anything. Within 20min my throat was getting puffy and I was turning red and feeling like I was on fire. 3 benedryl and some time later I was fine. Give me grouper, amberjack, wild caught salmon, snapper or any salt fish and I'm good to go. I prefer the taste anyway.

Charbroiled a couple of thick pork chops tonight; tasted pretty good alongside some Spanish rice and sliced tomatoes. Fresh strawberries in hand-whipped cream for dessert!

Any of you guys have a wood pellet grill yet? I've been checking them out and I might just have to get one. Bastards are expensive but they seem amazing.
