Anti-virus. Thought most everybody used it. The last update seemed to have blocked it from updating the daily anti-virus profiles. So trying this, trying that, trying their (no response in 24 hrs) forum, I uninstalled its search toolbar and bingo! It started updating again.
I'm not much of a techie so these things bog me down. My other computer won't accept the Windows update. I've read their stuff, downloaded their fixes, scans, etc... wasted days, and still won't update. Good 'ol Billy still making billions selling crap that's filled with glitches.

They launched a 15 yr old satellite? 
Isn't that tech just a bit outdated??
